Christmas revel

Since Sherlock is a well-known detective I figured I'd give him a simple case to work on.

I wrote clues and hints for him and left them around our house so when he and Enola get back he can find them.

After I had set them all in place and put the surprise in the Christmas tree I headed into the kitchen and offered my help but the ladies and gentleman told me no.

So I headed out and waited for my husband and sister in law to arrive.

It wasn't long beter the sounds of Enola and Sherlock walking into our house filled the quietness.

"Darling we are home" Sherlock greets

"Got company" Enloa adds

I stand up and put my book down before I walk off to greet them.

"Hello loves, Tewkesbury" I greet 

"Hello sis," Enola says

I walk over and hug her before I look at my husband and give him a few kisses on the cheek.

"Hello Mrs. Holms " Tewkesbury greets

I smiled.

"What have you been up to darling?" Sherlock asked

"Well I have seen some mysterious things laying around the house that I figured I'd leave for you to find and figure them out" I replied

Enola looks at me and I wink at her.

"What kind of mysterious things?" Sherlock asks

"You will have to find them to see" I replied

He excused himself and walked off.

"What is it he is looking for?" Enola asks

"I can't tell, but if he finds them all then you will shortly find out," I tell her

She nods and we all head to the library and wait.

I didnt make things hard for Sherlock to find or figure out. Even if I did he would have gotten and understood the hints and clues anyway.

When the sound of heavy footfalls was heard we all stood up and looked towards the library entry.

"No way?" Sherlock says looking at me

I simply shrug my shoulders

"What?" Enola asks

"One moment and I will tell you," Sherlock says then walks out.

This time I follow him while Tewkesbury & Enola follow me.

I watch Sherlock examine the tree very carefully before he finds what he is looking for.

"Seriously?" he asks

"I don't know what you're asking that for?" I replied

He takes the arrangement off and then spots another grabbing that one as well and bring it over.

"You're pregnant," he says

"No way," Enola says

Sherlock hands the ornaments over to her and I smile while nodding my head.

He sweeps me off me feet and twirls me around before placing me back down cupping my face and kissing me.

"Thank you so much," he says

"your welcome" I replied

"Best Christmas ever," Enola says

We look at her

"Well early," she says

I chuckle and hug when she walks over and hugs me while Sherlock hangs the ornaments back up.

"I can't wait to do some baby shopping and everything else to prepare for my little niece or nephew," she says in excitement

"Well you have a full eight months to get ready," I tell 

"You're a month along? " she asks

"Yea" I replied

Sherlock grabs me up and kisses me again before practically running through the house and shouting I am gonna be a dad which made,me, Enola,& Tewkesbury chuckle.
