Christmas prep (Walt)

Having busy schedules it kept Walt and I, from being able to purchase a Christmas tree. But Once I was able to do so I made sure to get some decore for it as well.

After I put the tree up with Kylie's and Fye's help we started putting the blue garland on it then adding purple ornaments, and colorful lights before I lifted Kylie and had her put the angel topper on the tree.

We stepped back and looked at the blue-green tree.

"It's different yet it suits us huh?" I asked

"Yea," Kylie says

"I like it," Fye says

"So do I."

We all three turn to look at Walt who was standing there looking at his girls and smiling before walking over and scooping up Kylie then hugged Fye and kissed me.

"Looks very good darling," he says

"Thank you, I had help from our girls," I tell him

"Well you three did a great job, so I think hot cocoa is in order" he replied

While Walt and the girls made hot coco I hung the stockings up, put the wreath on the door, then put some lights up over the fireplace to really give the room a color Christmas glow.

After I double checked everything I went and checked on Walt and the girls before heading back and just admiring mine and their work.

"Who picked the blue gree tree?" Walt asked as he and the girls walked in

"It was a mutual decision since we didn't want traditional" I replied

"Since when?" he asked

"Not much for tradition," I say

He nodded his head and handed me a cup of cocoa before we all took a seat and just looked at all the Christmas decor.

"It looks really good," Walt says

"Yea now Santa can find us and have a place to put our presents," Ky says

"That's right Ky" Fye agrees.

I look at Fye and smile before leaning down and kissing Kylie's head while Walt pulls Fye into a side hug.
