They ignored me

Esme was invited to a Disney dress up party where kids and adults were allowed to come dressed in their favorite prince or princess.

So she and I headed off to a costume store and purchased a Belle & Ariel dress along with prince Eric's uniform.

I knew I'm gonna be the odd one of our bunch.

On the day of the party, I helped Esme get ready before I went and got myself ready.

Once I had finished I met Esme and Henry downstairs.

"look mommy daddy is dressed like prince Eric," she says smiling as she is in her Daddy's arms

"Yea I see that" I replied walking up to the two and giving them kisses.

I grabbed Kal's leach and attached it to him while Henry went and put Esme in her car seat.

"Will you be my beast?" I asked Kal

He nodded his head and I smiled then walked out the door with him locking it up.

We arrived at a party and everyone was dressed as their favorite prince or princess. I was the only Princess Belle.

"Seems your the oddball huh?" a lady asked me

I looked at her and seen she was dressed like Aurora.

"Yea seems me and my beast are the odd ones" I replied

She looked at me confused before looking at Kal who was by my side and smile understanding what I meant.

"I like it, it's very cute," she says

"Thank you" I replied

 she nodded then walked off while I looked around to spot my princess Ariel and Prince Eric seeing them in the far distance having what looks to be a tea party with Cinderella and charming.

I smiled as Kal and I made our way through the party talking and interacting with each other before I got Kal some water and food and headed over to a shaded bench and sat down while Kal ate, drank, and got cooled off.

"So this is where Princess Belle disappeared to,"  some guy says

I look up and see that he is dressed as Adam.

"How funny is it that you're the only Belle in this party while I am the only Prince Adam" he comments

"I figured not many people like the book nerd of the princesses" I replied

"Mind if I join you?" he asked

" I'll have to decline," I tell him

"Oh and why is that?" he asked

"My beast will be taking the spot next to me," I tell him

Right after I said that Kal jumped up on the bench and laid beside me.

"My apologizes I will be going," he says

I nodded and waved bye.

After the party which I didn't enjoy like I thought I would. We headed home I went and got dressed in running attire before I told Henry I was heading out.

When I didn't hear any reply I took it as he was too busy with Esme or outside playing so I grabbed my keys that had made and put them over my neck before I left.

People at the party looked at me as if they felt sorry for me, and they would ignore me half the time hell My own husband and daughter blew me off upon our arrival my only company was Kal which he technically wasn't allowed but I told them he was my beast so they allowed him to be there to go with my costume.

I did try to interact with people but they wanted nothing to do with me, so when I tried to talk with Esme or Henry they acted as if I wasn't there which hurt and was totally unexpected.

I headed back home and went upstairs to take a shower and get ready for bed before I headed downstairs grabbed a blanket and pillow before laying on the couch and went to sleep.
