dress hunting

Me, my mom, a close friend of mine went dress hunting. I told the dress consultant what I was looking for then she proceeded to show us where some of the similar styles I was wanting were located so we all picked the ones we liked and I was shown to the dressing room while the others were to take a seat.

The first one I tried on was a thin strap slim floral dress with a little bit of train. I turned to look at myself from the sides then headed out the door to as did  the others.

"Its pretty, but not how we would think you'd want to dress," my bestie Lulu says

"I agree its more of a party type dress on you then wedding," My momma says

When I tried on another dress it was a strapless corset top going into a ballgown.

I stood upon the miniature stage and faced my friend and mom.

"I like it" they both said

"But want me to try the others?" I asked

"Right" they replied

So I gathered up the bottom and walked off.

The next one I tried was a short halter top.

I walked out and looked at myself.

"I feel like Grace Kelly" I commented

"You do in that dress which is almost similar to her's," Lulu says

"Not for you or the type of wedding," my mom says

So I headed back to the changing room and slip on a long lace sleeve, an off-shoulder slim dress that looked like a mermaid one but it was cute.

When both my mom and Lulu said no, I went back to put on another floral design dress with a tiny coat that looked more like small sleeves. I headed out and showed my mom and Lulu.

They both booed and pointed their thumbs down.

 "We have one more dress so let's hope its a winner," the consultant says

I nod in agreement and walk off back to the dressing room.

When I slip on this thin strap princess dress I fell in love with it. I mean it suites the wedding theme Sy and I are gonna have and it feels perfect, fits perfect, and I just love it.

I lifted up the bottom and proudly made my way out to the miniature stage let the bottom go and gave a twirl in the gown before I face them.

They cheered and clapped.

"We have a winner," my mom says

I beam in excitement.

"It will fit the theme to a T," Lulu says

I turned and admired myself in the mirror before looking at the consultant.

"I will take it," I tell her

"Alright well since there are no alterations needed let's get you changed out of this dress and we will get the transaction taken care of," she says

The whole ride home I couldn't wipe the smile off my face. I have my dream dress to go with Sy's and my dream wedding I ma just ready to my the love of my life.
