Shh... it was only a dream (requested)

 Since he got attacked by and fought necrophages, he has been in and out of consciousness. Mumbling different things I dont quite understand. Probably something that only witchers know and understand. 

 I sat beside Geralt and listened to him mumble about something I couldn't make it out.

 Then I heard him say.

Come closer. How do you like my eyes?

I didn't know who he was dreaming about but whoever it was he wanted them to see what happened to him.

Why did you do it?

I said nothing just sat there and listened to him.

only three out of ten boys make it through the trials, tell me you didn't know about that when you left me on his doorstep.

I became much more clear as to who he was dreaming he was speaking to.

Why not?

His mother must have said something in reply to him telling her what he knows of the witcher trails.

no please dont leave.

It hurt me to hear him plead with his mother the woman who abandoned him on the older witcher's doorstep not to leave him again.

When he sat up  I was quick to wrap my arms around him. Making sure I took caution in case he thinks he is being attacked.

"She Geralt, it's ok. I am here, it was only just a dream" I tell him as I soothe him and run my fingers through his hair.

"It seemed so real as if she was really here" he replies

"I know darling, but she is long gone, ever for you to worry about her leaving you again. I won't let anyone abandon you." I promise

He looks at me and closes his eyes and he leans into my touch.

I smiled and lay my head on top of his.

"I will never ever leave you Geralt, where ever you go I will always be there, I know some times you won't want me in harm's way but I will always be waiting for your return," I tell him.
