baby's first steps ( Clark)

Upon seeing cute little blue fuz booties would be the cuties thing for little Johnathan. So I purchased them along with the groceries we were needing.

I headed home with sleeping Jonathan in his car seat.

Once I had put the groceries away I grabbed the little fur booties and walked into Johnathan's nursery to see him wide awake and happy to see me. I picked him up and littered his face with kisses making him smile.

I changed his butt and slipped the booties on his little feet and he automatically grabbed his feet and got excited feeling the fuzz.

I smiled and scooped him up before I took him into the living room and sat him down on his feet as I held his hands.

"Oh little guy let's try to walk," I tell him

He just stomps and stays still.

 So I try to think of something that will catch his attention and tell him to walk to that object.

"Hello baby, Hi Johnathan" Clark greets

"I look over and see he's dressed as superman

"Hello superman, care to help out?" I asked

"Sure what can I do?" he asked

"Stand a distance in front of Johnathan. I am trying to see if he will walk and so far nothing has worked so I am hoping your bright red cape will do it" I explained

Clark walks over and stands where I had asked

"Look bubby, it's daddy. go and get his cape" I tell Johnathan

He looks up from his hands and claps when he sees his daddy.

"Come on bubby come get daddy's cape," Clark tells him

Johnathan gets really excited as he moves forward now with an object in his view and determination to get to that object.

He slowly begins to move as Clark begins to record him.

the two of us cheer and smile proudly at our little man as he walks then stops wabbling to regain balance before he continues. He falls a total of four times but pushes himself back up and continues.

As if to help aid things when the ac kicks on Clark's cape fans out towards Johantha who gets a kick out watching it move starts making grabby hands.

I smiled as I watch the whole thing.

 When Johnathan gets closer the cape flies out of his reach and he pouts but keeps going and the cape falls over him covering him up making Clark and I both laugh and Johnathan keeps walking till he is holding his daddy's leg.

Clark stops recording and tosses the camera to me as he picks up Johnathan.

"Yea bubby did it," he says and claps while holding Johnathan in his arms and smiling which Johnathan starts to copy.

I watch the two interact before Clark sits him down and has him face me. I start to record as Clark tells Johanth to go get the camera in mommy's hand.

And like he had down with the Cape Johnahth makes it his mission to come for the camera.

 He wabbles a little but keeps his balance as he walks his way over to me.

I squat down and reach my hand out towards him.

"Come on baby, come get the camera," I tell him

He smiles happily and walks closer taking hold of my wrist as he reaches for the camera.

I smiled and pulled it back so he had to walk more.

Once he got closer I stopped recording and moved the camera fully before picking him up and bouncing him in my arms.

"You a big boy now Johnathan, you walked for the first time," I say to him

He babbles and smiles proudly of himself.
