laying on Kal

I saw this cute little video where a baby was laying on a dog so I wanted to see how Kal would react to Esme laying on him.

I walked around the couch with Esme in my arms and seen Kal curled up so I walked up to him knelt and plaid Esme right down on him.

He looked up at me and I smiled.

"She is giving you some cuddles since you seemed lonely," I tell him

He just gives a soft huff before keeping very still.

I take a quick picture then video before I start to rub Kal's head.

"You such a good boy and a wonderful big brother to Esme," I tell him

Not caring at all what I am saying to busy enjoying the head rubbing and scratches and there Kal closes his eyes and relaxes.

"What are you doing to him now?" Henry asks

"Well he looked lonely and I saw someone do this on a cute video so I figured Esme could give Kal some cuddles and I'd try it out and it's beyond adorable" I replied

He walks over and smiles before scooping Esme up into his arms and give Kal a simple pat before Walking off.

"Well while she was laying on you, you did a very good job and I am proud of you. stay right here I'll get a surprise for you" I tell Kal before I get up and grab him two treats before coming back and giving them to him before I walk off to wash my hands.

"So you saw a video where someone laying their baby on a dog and you wanted to try it?" Henry asked as we sat outside in the sade as he had a now sleeping Esme laying on his bare chest.

"Yea. I mean he was curled up, not moving so I figured why not. it's not like he'd harm her" I reply

"Yea but she could've been allergic to him," he says

"If that had been the case she would have shown signs all those other times she had laid around him or he gave her face licks," I tell him

He says nothing just pats Esme's butt gently.

"I didn't put her in harm nor would I ever, I did something cute and I was right there the whole time. Yet you act as if I'd allow her to be harmed or that your best friend would attack her" I say as I get up and pick Esme up and carried her inside with Henry following me.

"I didn't say nor imply either of that," he says

I looked at him as I laid Esme in her bed and put her stuffie close by.

"You all but freaked out and your actions spoke for you" I clarified

"I am sorry, I know you nor Kal would harm her or put her in harm's way," he says

"Thank you" I replied then walked past him and out the door.
