dancing in the rain

We had just picked up the kids from Sy's mom's place when came a duck drownder outside.

"I'll get Bennington you get Faith," I told Sy

He nods his head as He gets out the cargo to the back unbuckles out the kids and takes off running inside.

"Woah that is cold," Faith says

Bennington shivers so I take him upstairs and get him in a warm bath before drying him off and getting him in his warm footies.

Once the kids were taken care of, Sy and I started to fix dinner then headed into the living room to check on the babies.

"I wanna do something with you after while," I tell Sy, as we make the kids and our self a plate.

"Will I like it?" he asked

"Don't know we've never done it" I replied

"Well I'm interested," he says

"Good" was all I say

the rain was still coming down so after we all ate, and the dishes were done I slipped my shoes back on grabbed my coat and walked out the door.

"What are you doing you crazy woman?" Sy asked

"Come here you southern man and dance with me" I reply

"Kids stay in the house to keep warm" Sy tells them then shuts the door after slipping his boots on and coat.

He walks out to me and smiles.

"This what you wanted to do?" he asked

I smiled and nodded

"Then ma'am my I have this dance?" he asked as he bowed

"Yes you may," I tell him

He takes my hand and brings me close to him and starts dancing with me. 

He twirls me around in his arms then twirls me out before I come back in and he lifts me up spinning me around.

I giggle and laugh

"Enjoying this dove?" he asks

"Of course I am Sy, I'm with you and we are dancing in the rain" I anwsered.

We took off running back inside laughing our asses off when it really came a downpour.

"Ah daddy you danced with mommy in the rain" Faith says

"Yes little lady I sure did, and when you get older I'll dance with you as mommy will with Brantley" I answered her

"I can't wait," she says

he and I remove our wet coats and hang them to dry before removing our boots and shoes then picking up our babies and going to cuddle them on the couch.

After they had fallen asleep Sy and I head to our bathroom and take a very Steamy shower. the water was hot but we added the steam.

After we showered we dried off got into warm pjs and went right to bed.
