"Día's asking if everything's okay. She says some people are asking about Yeo-Reom." Ri-Ya announced as she joined Ma-Ra and I at the breakfast table in the dining room. There was no one else around yet; the twins had hinted that they had ordered the rest of the gang members out of the manor for the weekend so I could get used to my new situation with more ease.

The outer circle members had been very welcoming and friendly, overwhelmingly so and though I appreciated it, I was a creature of habit and I longed for my own space after the first day.

"Did she give any names?" Ma-Ra asked, placing down her cup of tea gently, briefly glancing at me before turning back to Ri-Ya,

Ri-Ya shook her head, putting her phone away and pouring herself some coffee again, her third cup already, "People, plural. Most likely meaning a few people have been around looking for her in hopes of claiming the hit money."

Ma-Ra hummed thoughtfully, clasping her hands together to rest her chin on them, "I suppose I'll have to get in touch with the person who set the hit then, I'll try convince them to call it off. Otherwise, I may have to use gang law against them."

I nodded along to her words, nibbling at the rolled egg omelette Ma-Ra had served earlier, not really understanding what she was talking about but wanting to be supportive anyway, "I'm already causing trouble...it's a little strange though, I don't think I did anything to even draw the attention of a gang. Maybe my old boss hired them, he was a bit of a dick?"

Ma-Ra and Ri-Ya shared a strange look that I couldn't interpret before Ri-Ya spoke carefully, "The gang that set the hit aren't exactly the type of people that can be hired. It's more likely you rubbed one of their members wrong unknowingly."

I sighed, placing down my chopsticks, trying my best to act like I had no idea of any names that could be associated with the apparent gang, not entirely sure why I was trying to protect Chan-Yeol and Baek-Hyun even with what I knew.

"Let's talk about this later, I'll sort it out. Yeo-Reom-Ah, is there anything you want to do today? Anything you need to get? We haven't exactly let you out of our sight these last few days." Ma-Ra quickly changed the subject, lowering her arms to look at me properly.

I pressed my lips together before shaking my head, "I don't think I need anything in particular and I don't really know what to do...but I do have some questions, if that's okay?"

"Of course!"

"Absolutely!" Ma-Ra and Ri-Ya replied at the same time, both of them crossing their legs in an eerily similar manner.

I smiled hesitantly before pushing my plate away, "I've been curious about this since I got here but why were you contacting Oh-Rim? When did you find out I was alive? Why didn't you come sooner if you knew?"

The twins glanced at each other, their smiles matching, "Lots of questions, okay," Ma-Ra began, "I suppose a little back story is necessary. I took over this gang from a friend who was killed around three years ago, we looked for you before that, but we didn't have the resources for a broad search."

I leaned closer, watching her intently,

"Once I took over, I asked Oh-Rim to look for you full time, but she always came up with blank. You weren't anywhere... and then, a few days ago the EXO gang set a hit on you. When we saw the name, it was hard to believe but then we dispatched Oh-Rim to find you and it turned out to be true. You hid yourself very well all these years."
