"Ah! That's refreshing!" Praised Oh-Rim, slamming her shot glass down on the red, plastic table, the table swaying slightly.

I smiled at her carefully, looking around tentatively, pulling the end of the cap further down my face before tipping my own shot glass into my mouth, letting the burning sensation of soju wash down my throat.

"Yah, who would have thought I'd be seeing my precious best friend here after ten years. This is fate! This is a sign we weren't meant to part in the first place!" Oh-Rim was little drunk, her words slurring as she proceeded to pour herself another shot, pausing to pick up a chicken foot, and chew on it, talking with her mouth full, "I was so upset when you left middle school. I kept thinking she'll come back tomorrow, she'll come back next week but...you never came back."

She hiccupped a little, downing her twentieth shot of the hour, rocking unsteadily in her seat, "Why...didn't you come back, you disloyal bitch?"

I glanced away awkwardly, avoiding the frowning faces of the older woman running the tent bar, watching us from beside her food station, "Oh-Rim-Ah, stop drinking now, I'll help you home before you pass out, okay?" I went to move the soju bottle away from her, gesturing to woman running the bar with my hand, "Could we get the bill please?"

Oh-Rim's hand flew over mine, preventing me from moving the bottle away from her, "Answer me...you heartless bitch. I waited for you. Ten years, seven months and three days. Why didn't you come back?"

I sighed, standing up and fixing my hat again. Oh-Rim didn't notice me digging around in her pockets, either that or she didn't mind; I found a few scrunched up money bills in her hoodie pocket and I passed them back to the owner of the tent bar, refusing to let her see my face clearly.

Oh-Rim stumbled to her feet too after I'd finished paying for us, swaying on her feet, "Kim Yeo-Reom!"

I flinched, looking around to see if anyone else had heard her yelling before I covered her mouth with my hand and pinched her side, hissing under my breath, "Stop it will you! You're drunk!"

She blinked at me blankly, still swaying so I hooked her arm around my shoulders and placed my arm around her waist, holding her up and slowly dragging her out of the tent bar, "I left, what about it? I came back, didn't I?"

Oh-Rim's head fell forward, her weight drifting forward as well, and I stumbled trying to keep us both upright,

"Yah! If you lean any further forward, I'm going to let you fall," I gasped out, shifting around so I could grab her more comfortably, "Don't pass out just yet too, where am I going?"

She was silent for a bit, her feet barely hitting the ground as I led us down different streets, trying to avoid any places I could think that would have cameras that Chan-Yeol could have hacked into.

"Why would you drink so much if you can't even handle your alco—" I grumbled when she suddenly woke up again, pushing me away from her, her feet catching on the pebbles on the street, but she didn't fall,

"You...why did you come back?" She demanded, her finger stuck out and pointing at me.

I rolled my eyes, my nails picking at the skin around my nails as I mumbled, "I just did."

Oh-Rim watched me carefully before she lurched, puking to the side, her hand hitting the wall as she tried to stay upright.

I sighed deeply, pinching the bridge of my nose, "How have you not changed at all in ten years?" I grumbled, going over to her and patting her back, waiting until she was done.
