Kim Min-Seok's Pov.

Kim Jun-Myeon, Suho, was many things; ruthless, smart, charismatic... merciful and patient were not part of the list.
As he sat at his desk, clothes crisp, hair carefully styled, his EXO pin glinting on his tie, his expression utterly blank as he took in what we'd told him; I knew, we fucked up.
"This girl, what was her name again?" He droned lowly; his eyes cast down at the edge of his desk.
"Kim Yeo-Reom, Boss, at least that's what we found out from our research." Jong-Dae answered hurriedly, tapping his foot nervously,
"Right. This Kim Yeo-Reom...she saw you kill Hong Man-Gi, so you tried to kill her because we don't accept loose ends. She jumped into the river, but she miraculously lived. Why?"
My eyes turned back to Jong-Dae, who was fiddling with the slightly loose threads at the end of his jumper nervously. Baekhyun was sitting down in front of us, his fists clenched in his lap and his jaw tense.
"The thing is...I saved her," Jong-Dae responded quietly too, looking away from Suho's piercing stare.
"And I'm dying to hear why you would do such a thing, Kim Jong-Dae." Suho snapped, slamming his hands down on top his desk and standing up, his chair flying backwards into the wall behind him.
Jong-Dae didn't answer, he just bowed lowly, his teeth clenched together.
"Jun-Myeon-Ah, she was innocent, she was only there by accident. We have morals too, you should know better than us, you set our morals in place. We don't kill innocents; we only kill the guilty." I stepped in, placing my hand on Jong-Dae's back trying to comfort him.
Suho leaned back, his eyes turning up to stare at the clock above his doorway, "An innocent, you say? And yet somehow, she's working for Park Chan-Yeol, a member of the EXO gang after seeing you kill someone. Don't you find that strange, Min-Seok?"
I clenched my eyes shut, biting my bottom lip harshly, torn between defending the girl and believing Suho's convictions, "Yes. I admit, I do find that strange but there may be another expl—"
Baekhyun clicked his tongue and cracked his neck from side to side, cutting me off, "Let's just kill her. There's no way it's an unlucky coincidence; we tried to kill her, she survived and began to work for an EXO member. She's probably an undercover agent trying to get close to us."
Suho turned his eyes to Baek-Hyun, his lips twitching into a fond smirk, and he stepped out from around his desk, coming to stand beside his second-in-command, placing his hand on Baek-Hyun's shoulder, "You two should learn from Baek-Hyun. I never have problems when he works alone. He always does a clean job with no loose ends. That's his style,"
I met Jong-Dae's angry stare with an exasperated one of my one but neither of us said anything against him. Baek-Hyun was Suho's favourite, he always had been.
"Baek-Hyun, I'll entrust you with sorting this out. Do it quickly so she won't cause any more trouble. Dump her in the Han River after that, she seems to like it there."
