Kim Yeo-Reom's Pov.

I heaved myself off of the dead body of Kim Re-Won, dropping down onto my back, staring up at the blank ceiling; the knife dripping with his blood, stayed firmly in my palm.
"Reom-Ah?" It was Chan-Yeol, I knew it was, who else could it have been. I could sense him edging closer, his fingers tracing my wrist searching for my pulse. He sighed in relief when he found it and then he saw my open, unblinking eyes. "You're bleeding heavily, we have to find someway to stop it..."
I didn't reply. I didn't move. I couldn't anymore.

Park Chan-Yeol's Pov.
▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎I would have believed someone if they had told me Yeo-Reom was dead.
Her face was pale, sweaty and covered in blood splatters. Her lips were cracked and dry, eyes blank and unseeing. Her hands were covered in layers of dark red liquid too, that continued up to stain her clothes, the rest of her skin and even her hair.
I tried to ignore the pain in my leg, tearing off a small part of my shirt to tie the gun shot wound over my jeans. I then removed my jacket, covering Yeo-Reom's gushing wound with as much caution as possible, she didn't flinch, I don't think she didn't even notice.
I continued to press down on the wound, reaching up to stroke her hair as I spoke, "We need to get you out of here. You need to get to a hospital. Reom-Ah? Stay awake for me, okay?"
She blinked and a slow sense of dread began to build up as I realised the possibly she may be in shock or already losing too much blood.
"Yah, Kim Yeo-Reom!" I shoved her shoulder lightly, watching closely as she blinked once, and then, twice and then, a third time before releasing a shaky breathe.
"I killed him."
My hand found its way back into her hair, stroking it gently despite the bloody knots building up in it, "You had no choice." I mumbled back, eyeing the body a few centimetres away.
Kim Re-Won's neck was completely devoid of any remaining skin, only muscle and bone fragments laced with blood. His mouth was shredded too; no more opportunities left for him to smile remaining.
"I killed him." Yeo-Reom turned her head slowly, her eyes meeting mine.
I continued to stroke her hair, "Well done."
She offered half a smile, closing her eyes for a millisecond before trying to sit up and flinching.
"Stay still. Don't forget there's still a fight going on outside—" I was cut off.
"Yeo-Reom!"

I stumbled beside her, half scared to death by the fact that she might have been dead, ignoring Chan-Yeol who held her up into a sitting position, "What happened? Are you okay? Where is—"
My hand flew to my mouth as I studied the dismantled corpse of what had once been my father laying beside Yeo-Reom.
I felt Min-Seok move to stand behind me, his hands coming down to rest on my shoulders, squeezing lightly before he lowered himself to crouch down beside me, "Are you injured?"
My focus flew back to Yeo-Reom's drained face at his question, placing my hand down on her knee, all thoughts of our earlier arguments leaving my system.
"Chan-Yeol got shot..." Yeo-Reom fumbled over her words as she tried to turn around and glance at her boyfriend, her eyes spacing out as she shook her head to clear it.
Chanyeol clicked his tongue in disbelief, "We need is to get her to a hospital now. She's lost a lot of blood, that fucker stabbed her."
In the dark, it was hard to make out her wound but Chan-Yeol's jacket was already a little wet when I traced it, my fingertips coming away red.
"We can't leave yet." Min-Seok stressed, reminding me of the reason we had left the main fight in the first place.
"Why can't we leave? She's literally bleeding out, what could possibly hold priority over that?" Chan-Yeol demanded, pulling Yeo-Reom into his chest giving little regard to his own immobile leg.
I dragged a hand through my hair before lowering it over Yeo-Reom's wound, adding a bit of pressure; she didn't respond much, her heading drooping slightly with exhaustion. "There's a situation in the scrap yard. Ma-Ra and Suho disappeared half an hour ago, no one can find them. Ma-Ra went after a small group of Black Aces, Suho was worried so he followed. They aren't dead but the earpieces can't reach them and we can't leave until the leaders are back." I explained the situation slowly, swallowing bitterly right after.
"She will die!" Chan-Yeol immediately argued,
Min-Seok turned to me, his hand resting on my thigh as I crouched beside Yeo-Reom, "It's your call, Angel."
"I'll be fine," Yeo-Reom suddenly gasped out but none of us believed her.
I sighed, lowering my head into my palms, trying to rub away the tension, "The Black Aces are finished. Kim Re-Won is dead. Kim Ma-Ra and Kim Suho are missing. My baby sister is dying... and I'm meant to be in control right now. Excellent!"
Min-Seok rubbed my back slowly, "Think it through, don't rush. You're the second for a reason."
I looked up again, clenching my nails into my palms, "I either follow gang law and refuse to let anyone leave until the leaders return but then Yeo-Reom dies, or I let you guys go and Ma-Ra may die because everyone will decide to leave."
"I said I'm fine!" Yeo-Reom hissed out, trying to sit up by herself, her face twisting with determination, "We stay, let's find the bosses and then go,"
Chan-Yeol went to argue but she threw him a half-heartedly glare.
"I'm not leaving my sister behind. I've done that before...never again."
I nodded slowly, a wave of dread filling me as I watched Yeo-Reom adjusted her makeshift jacket bandage before clambering to her feet unsteadily.
Chan-Yeol followed, flinching as weight was forced onto his injury but he didn't argue further.
"I'll help Chan-Yeol. You carry Yeo-Reom, she shouldn't be walking," I quickly told Min-Seok, heading forwards.
Min-Seok nodded, rushing over to Yeo-Reom who lacked both the energy and ability to argue as he gently hoisted her up into his arms, cracking a few jokes in hopes of helping her maintain her consciousness and lower her focus on the pain.
"Come on, lean on me," I grunted at Chan-Yeol.
Chan-Yeol nodded gratefully, swinging his arm over my shoulder as we began to exit the office building, "Where do you think they could be?"
I sighed heavily, "This place is laced with bombs. Wherever they are, I really hope we find them soon because so far...their odds don't look so good."
