Kentrell

“Gaulden Kentrell Desean.” I perked up standing up when my name got called. I walked to the stage aware of the many eyes on me. Finally getting to where the principal was, I shook his hand taking my diploma from his outstretched hand then smiled at the camera.

I waited a minute for the snap to be taken then I walked off finally glad to be done with high school. Lord knows how fed up I was of my paw paw kicking my door down yelling, ‘boy get yoh ugly ass to school for I beat the black off yoh ugly ass face!’

I remember the one time I left my door open and he tried kicking it down as usual. He fell in face first cracking his nose. I woke up startled but let’s just say I couldn’t stop cackling once my sleepy brain actually understood what happened. I never let him live that down. I walked back to my seat waiting on the other names to be called.

“We did it bae. We finally graduated!” I looked to my left at the female seated there cheesing at me. She leaned over pecking my cheek then sat back letting out a squeal doing this silly dance where she was seated.

My girlfriend.

We been together two years. And a half? Ion remember exactly but its somewhere close to that. She the most patient girl I ever met in my life. I mean I done put her through a lot of shit since we been together but she still here. Every single time she always take me back. Ion really mean to hurt her. I swear on my mama I don’t. I guess I’m just fucked up and don’t know how to love her the way I’m supposed to. But I can for real say I try. I take her to dates and shit, buy her lil cute ass gifts and even allow her to drag me into them dumb ass tiktok videos she be doing.

I can’t lie tho, sometimes I be staring at her and wonder if I really love her. Ion understand romantic love like that and I even won’t try to. One thing I know forsho is when I’m laying on her, my head on her soft titties and she wrap her arms around me I’m at peace. Like I’m safe in her arms and my fucked-up life is only a distance memory. Sometimes I think that’s the main reason I can’t let her go. She gimme peace.

Also, Shawty a whole baddie on my soul. She got these pretty ass hazel eyes that always captivate me. Especially when she giving me top. Or when she want me to do something for her. Admittedly I don’t always do half the shit she wants me to but once in a while I spoil her a lil. She also got a beautiful face to look at. I like that you don’t really notice how beautiful she is unless you really paying close attention. Her body perfect tho. In my eyes that is. She curvy in all the right places and that does it for me. Not too small and not too big either. She mad flexible to which is a bonus for me if you get what I’m saying.

But mostly I love her personality. She cool, quiet and always stay minding her own business. I consider myself a chill nigga so it’s only right I picked somebody lowkey. Don’t get me wrong, there’s dude that like em loud and ratchet but couldn’t be me. I stand on that.

“-trell. Trell?” I zoned back to her shaking my arm. “Where yoh head at?” Jade asked a small frown on her face. “You not listening to me.”

“I am.” No I wasn’t.

“The ceremony is over.” She said making me look around. Students were already mixing with their families happily celebrating. I stood up from my seat yanking my grad cap off my head.
