Chapter 3: Run

———/1 day before they meet the family/———
Third person's POV

"Sharon come on let's play!" A kid yelled calling for Sharon who was behind.

"Wait for me there ___!" Sharon yelled back to the kid.

"I had fun playing today ___" Sharon told the kid after they played.

"Sharon can you promise me something?" The kid asked her and so she nodded.

"When we grow up promise me that you'll marry me okay?" The kid told her with a smile that brought warmth to the young Sharon who smiled and nodded her head.

"Of course ___ I promise you that and I'm only going to marry you and you only ___" Sharon told the kid as they linked their pinky fingers as they promised to marry each other when they grow up.

"Sharon I promise to go back to you and I promise to still marry you." The little kid told the sleeping Sharon that was laying on the hospital bed with a bandage on her head.

"M-mom and Dad told me that w-we need to go back home to get me c-cured." The kid said holding Sharon's hand while crying.

"But I promise to be back for you don't worry okay? ____ will be back Minari I promise." The little kid said before kissing Sharon on her forehead cheeks and pecked her lips just like the first time Sharon did it when they were playing.

"I'll be back." The kid said before letting go of Sharon's hand and walked out the room crying.

"Don't worry my dear child we'll go back here okay? We'll be back for Sharon." The kids mother said caressing her child's back while she was carrying her crying child.

"You'll see Sharon again ____ you both just need to get cured up okay?" The kids dad told his child.

"Don't worry when you get back Sharon is already fine and ready to see you." Sharon's mother told the kid who instantly looked at her as she mentioned her daughters name.

"P-promise?" ____ asked and they all nodded their heads so ___ wiped the tears away and smiled before they went out the hospital and immediately went to the airport to go back to their home so ___ could get healed up.

'I promise I'll be back for you Sharon.'

Sharon jolted up her bed sweating waking up from her dream and held her chest and felt her heart beating fast again when she remembered the kid in her dream.

"There it is again, my heart is going crazy again for you kid." She mumbled to herself with a small smile on her lips that then disappeared when she remembered that tomorrow will be the day that she'll meet her 'fiancé' and it's family.

"Now that thought just ruined my day." She again mumble before standing up going to her bathroom to freshen up and dressed herself in a yellow floral dress before going out her room.

"Good morning Sharon!" Savanna cheerfully greeted her as soon as she was inside the dinning hall and sat with them.

"Good day to you too girls." She greeted back smiling putting a small portion of food on her plate.

"Are you excited for tomorrow Sharon?" Molly asked her causing Savanna and Anne to look at her direction waiting for her answer.

"What about tomorrow?" She asked pretending to not know what is there tomorrow as she doesn't wanna remember it.

"You're meeting your fiancé and your fiancé's family tomorrow silly." Molly said smiling at her but she just showed a small smile before giving her answer.
