Chapter 16: Mad Tiger

Third person's POV

"Okay everyone that's it, everyone dismissed." Chaeyoung said after every questions was answered after the presentation was done.

"You guys did great, just pass me the finishing details so I could review it and we could do the planning for the releasing of it." Chaeyoung told the team who handled the new game not too strict but still with bossiness in her tone but that somehow made the the teams heart feel warm that their boss liked their work—you could say that it was the first time Chaeyoung gave a compliment about her employees work so they were really happy she liked it.

"Thank you Miss Son, we promise to do much better on our next project." The team leader said before bowing to her along with his team while Chaeyoung just hummed before walking out the conference room and was now walking back to her office when she heard a girl yelled—and she knows who that is so she immediately walked fast to where the girl yelled and saw her struggling to get away from the mans grip.

"Just come with me and I'll make sure your boss will give you a higher position here." The man told Mina who was still struggling to get away from his grip with tears already streaming down her face—'Who the hell gave this man the permission to make my princess cry?!'

"Hey." She coldly said that made the man and Mina look at her, when she saw Mina's diamond like tears streaming down her face she clenched her fist from anger because of the man.

"Oh Miss Son, I'm just teaching your employee here a—"

"Don't touch my girlfriend like that you perverted old man!" Chaeyoung cut his words with a hard punch before uttering this words to him while he was on the ground groaning in pain after Chaeyoung punched him but was surprised when he heard what the younger had just said.

"Y-your girlfriend?" The man stutteringly asked the younger who was staring daggers at him after what he just did to Mina.

"Yes, and now I don't need you in my company so get out before I call the securities to drag you out of here." She sternly told the man who immediately nodded and stood up before running away scared of the younger girl who has fire in her eyes while looking at him while Chaeyoung's employees was looking at him while he was running out before turning to the couple who was still standing there.

"Let's go." Chaeyoung said before gently grabbing Mina's hands and lead her to her office out of people's sight.

"Are you okay?" She asked the girl who was still sobbing sitting on the sofa.

"Shh don't cry, don't worry he's out of here now I won't let him or anyone hurt you ever again." She said hugging the girl who immediately hugged her back crying on her chest hugging her tight while she just rubbed her back gently soothing her.

"Are you okay now?" She again asked the girl once she stopped from crying and felt her nodded still while hugging her.

"Let's give your wrist a cold compress so it won't swell, it's so red right now." She said before standing up to go to the companies cafeteria to get some ice packet and ice. When she got back to her office she immediately sat beside Mina and held her hand before placing the ice packet above wrist.

"Why did that man yell at you and kept on pulling you by the way?" She asked Mina who was still sniffling but wasn't crying anymore.

"I-i was walking back here after going to the bathroom, I d-didn't know I was going to bump into h-him until he just y-yelled at me then that happened." Mina explained in between her sobs while Chaeyoung heaved a deep sigh with her head down before looking back up at the girl and smiled.

"Don't worry Minari, I won't let anyone hurt you again I promise." Chaeyoung said with a toothy deep dimple smile that made Mina's heart race again like before where she felt something familiar but she didn't thought of it too much because she thinks it was just nothing but this is already one of those thousand times where she had felt that and she can't help but think—'Why am I feeling this way?'
