Third person's POV
"My lord, Princess Sharon has came to talk to you." The butler informed the man as he sat on his chair.
"Let her in." Lord Itsuki said so the butler walked out and let the Princess in.
"Why is it that you want to talk to me my dear?" He asked his granddaughter who heaved a deep sigh before opening her mouth to speak.
"I'll be joining the choosing." The Princess said that made her grandfather look up at her from the papers he has on his hands.
"You are?" He asked while the Princess nodded her head that made him smile.
"What made you change your mind?" He asked.
"I thought that Irene was right, this is not just for me and for the kingdom that this is also for Sunghoon's future. But I didn't join because I want Sunghoon to live a luxurious life. I decided to join because I know to myself that I can do it too, that I can rule kingdom too better than my father can. I don't give a thought on what other people think about me that like I can't do it or I won't be able to do it. The only thing that matters is I tried and I'm trying my best to be a great ruler. That no matter what happens my family will always be here for me, that Chaeyoung and Sunghoon would be always be here for me. And I'm happy with that, at least I'm trying my best to be a great ruler." She answered her grandfather truthfully that made him smile.
"I'm glad that you think like that Sharon. A mind of a true ruler indeed. I'm happy with your decision." Lord Itsuki told his granddaughter and stood up from his seat just to give her a hug.
"Good luck Sharon." He said smiling at her after pulling away.
"Thank you." Princess Sharon said returning the mans smile before going out his office and finally let out the breath she didn't know that she was holding in.
"I did it." She uttered.
"Wahh I did it!" She happily told herself with a wide smile before walking down to go to the fields where her cousins, her wife and her friends are.
"Sharon's back." Dahyun said pointing at the entrance of the field where Princess Sharon was walking to them with a wide smile.
"Chaeyoung-ah!" Princess Sharon happily exclaimed and ran to her wife before hugging her while she was still sitting on the chair.
"You did it?" Chaeyoung asked her.
"I did it." She answered and pulled away from the hug and smiled at her wife.
"I'm proud of you love." Chaeyoung said tucking strands of hair behind the Princesses ear smiling at her.
"So you're joining us now?" Princess Molly asked her.
"It's not bad to try right?" She answered giving them a smile.
"Let's all do our best." Princess Anne said giving her cousins an encouraging smile.
"Let's do our best, Miyeon." Princess Sharon said looking at their other cousin that was just looking at them seeing them happy—the kind of happiness that she didn't get to experience before.
"Yeah." She shortly responded before looking away feeling her heart ache differently with the gentle smile the Princesses were giving her.
"Sunghoon-ah~" Princess Sharon softly uttered when she saw Akari came inside the open house with two royal guards behind her holding an umbrella for her and Sunghoon while the other was guiding her way.
"He just woke up and started crying M'lady, perhaps he's looking for you." Akari said handing Sunghoon to Princess Sharon who carefully took him in her arms and started tapping his legs gently that made him stop from crying.
