Chapter 9: Why?

Third person's POV

Mina woke up not seeing the younger inside the room anymore that made her feel sad but she remembered the night before—'Why did she suddenly kiss me? But why did I feel hurt when she told me that she misses 'her'? Who is that girl? Where is she? Why did she leave Chaeyoung like this? Why? Why am I hurt?' At early in the morning those were the thoughts that was already occupying her mind, the thoughts about Chaeyoung's kiss, the thoughts of why her heart hurted when the younger told her about missing the 'girl', but mostly her thoughts were about why was she hurt? That's what is bothering her.

She looked around the room again just like last night and saw something covered on the table again like last night so she walked towards it and lifted the cover and saw food in it which was;omelette, rice and a small portion of salad and a ketchup on a separated small plate with milk.

"She really likes leafy food doesn't she?" She asked herself chuckling and soon started eating the food. When she was finally done eating she went out the room to wash the plate before going back up and took a shower.

"Where should I go today? Wait do I even know any place here? Should I call Chaeyoung? But she said she has a convention that's why she went here, I should just look up places I can go to." She told herself after exiting the bathroom and dressed into a simple clothes just a plain white shirt and shorts paired with white sneakers that Chaeyoung bought for her because she doesn't have any with her.

"First stop BIFF Square." She mumbled to herself after getting out the hotel and hailed the cab and went in and told the driver to bring her to the square—'Good thing I can communicate in korean now.' She told herself in her thoughts and proudly smiled to herself until the driver told her she was already at the square.

"Wow, this place is amazing." She mumbled to herself after getting out the cab and paid the driver.

She walked inside the BIFF Square in awe from seeing many various street foods everywhere that just makes her mouth water just from the smells of each of it that comes flying around the whole place along with the wind.

"I should go back here tomorrow with Chaeyoung, if she hadn't been here before I think she'll definitely love it here before." She said with a smile on her face and walked around the place trying different kind of foods here and there and buying things that she found cute.

"Chaeyoung would love this tiger cub I bought for her, it's just like her cute." She said to herself before putting the tiger cub back inside the paper bag and walked out of the place and went around a few places that she had looked up.

"I should go back now, Chaeyoung would get mad at me because I didn't tell her I was going out." She told herself after checking her phone and saw the time which was already 5:50 which is almost night so she hailed a cab again and told the driver where to bring her.

When she got to the hotel she paid the driver and went inside waited for the elevator to come and when one did she went in and pressed the floor for Chaeyoung's penthouse.

"Chaeyoung! You're home...oh you have friends with you, Hi I'm Mina." She said after entering the penthouse and saw Chaeyoung with her friends—but she didn't know what was waiting for her.

"Where have you been Mina?" Chaeyoung asked with the coldness of her voice that immediately scared Mina—'Did I do something wrong?' She asked herself in her thoughts before answering the younger.

"I-i was r-roaming around Ch—"

"Why didn't you call me or even texted me at least that you were going out? Don't you know how worried I was when I came here and didn't see you around huh?" Chaeyoung continuously told her sternly where she could sense anger coming from the younger.
