Chapter 52 (🥀)

Third person's POV

"I know." Mina said that made everyone in the room turn to her.

"What?" Miyeon asked.

"I know that you're adopted Miyeon, I've known about it for years since the last time you came to the castle and you and your father were arguing because of you not wanting to join the choosing, I've known it for a long time Miyeon." Mina repeated looking at Miyeon who scoffed thinking that Mina was fooling with her all these years of her knowing that she was only adopted.

"So you knew? You knew but you still kept close with me even though I was wanting to destroy you and your family? You knew but you kept it to yourself? How ironic Princess Sharon." Miyeon said and rolled her eyes looking at Mina in disbelief.

"I kept close with you because I see you as part of the family and not an outcast! I didn't want you to feel like you were an outcast by spreading it to everyone, I wanted you to experience a happy life with us Miyeon but you're the only one who doesn't." Mina said that made Miyeon roll her eyes at the Princess again.

"Wanted me to live a happy life? What do you think my life was after the choosing was done? Do you think I was living a happy life after that? No Mina! I wasn't living a happy life after that! I never lived a happy life since that man took me out of the orphanage! I never had a happy childhood like you did! I never had friends like you did! I never felt love like what Chaeyoung is giving to you..." Miyeon said with tears starting to roll down her face as she looks at the tied Princesses with a crying Sung-hoon.

"I imagined my life being as happy as yours, living with the one I love, having a happy family like you have right now, but I never got to do what I want because of you! If you weren't chosen as the next ruler I'm not supposed to be suffering like this! Only that Haruki's wife made me feel loved, the mother I grew to know as my own was the only one I had, she was my only savior from that man, she was the only one I had but she left me! She died! And now? I have no one, and I want you to feel that too." Miyeon said and took Sung-hoon from Elkie that alarmed Mina and her cousins.

"Miyeon no! Sung-hoon is just a baby! He knows nothing about this!" Sana yelled out but Miyeon just laughed and put the gun on the crying Sung-hoon's head.

"Miyeon please~ Sung-hoon is just a baby, please Miyeon just take me instead! Just take me! Just...just let go of my boy." Mina pleaded crying in front of Miyeon with her head slightly held down.

"How would I make you feel what I felt when I lost my mother if I'm going to take you? It should be your son Mina!" Miyeon yelled that made Mina lift up her head and look at Miyeon with tears in her eyes.

"No! Please~ Miyeon no~ S-sung-hoon is just a baby...no please~ just take me." Mina pleaded again.

"Fine fine if that's what you want." Miyeon said and handed Elkie Sung-hoon again and ordered Suho to take Mina.

When Mina was already untied she grabbed Suho by the head and slammed his head on the wall beside her that caused him to faint. She took his gun and pointed it at Miyeon.

"Aigoo~ so smart Princess Sharon~ but I'm smarter." Miyeon said and pointed the gun to  Momo.

"You drop that gun or I'll blow your cousins head?" Miyeon threatened that tensed Mina up.

"No Mina! You don't let that gun go!" Momo said that made Mina look at her and saw her shaking her head no.

"Momo unnie.." She said but Momo just shook her head so she faced Miyeon again.

"Give me my son and I'll drop the gun." Mina said.

"What do you think of me? Stupid? No!" Miyeon yelled.
