(Flashback)

"I can't find Trevor!" Neville panicked checking his robe pockets, his face scrunched up with tears brimming in his eyes.

"It's okay Nev" Viola reassured "we'll find him, when was the last time you saw him?"

"I'm not sure, maybe five minutes ago?"

"Woah, you lost him in between five minutes?! That's a new record!"

"Not helping Vi"

"Right sorry"

Suddenly the compartment door slid open revealing a second girl standing there. She had soft brown bushy hair and was also dressed in her robes.

"Hello, my names Hermione Granger. All the apartments are full. May I sit with you" the girl introduced gesturing next to the seat beside Viola.

"Course" Viola waved "you haven't seen a toad by any chance have you?"

"No sorry" Hermione frowned in response as Neville let out a small whimper.

"It's okay Nev. You stay here in case he comes back and I'll ask people if they've seen him anywhere"

Viola sighed running her hand through her hair frustratedly as she knocked on the last possible compartment. No one had seen Trevor anywhere and she was starting to loose her patience.
Not bothering to knock on the door she slipped into the compartment.

"Sorry to interrupt but has anyone seen a toad-" she droned on, her usual line she'd be reciting the past twenty minutes before she stopped mid sentence.

Two boys sat there looking up at her expectantly.

"Hey! You're the people who bought all the sweets from the trolly so no one else could have any!" She said eying the pile of food they were sat in.

"Oh- er sorry?" A boy with black hair and circular glasses apologised awkwardly.

"Don't apologise Harry!" The second boy defended "she should of gotten some before they were all gone"

"That's a bit rude don't you think?" Viola asked the boy whom she had recently learned was called Harry. The two boys just looked at each other unapologetically causing Viola to roll her eyes and start to walk away.

"Hey! You look familiar" the red head boy called out as Viola was about to leave.

Violas shoulders sagged, she just wanted to leave the two rude boys alone "you probably know my mum" she waved casually, once again turning her back to them.

"Who's your mum?"

"Rosaleé Devaux. Well, Lupin now" she replied casually

"No way!"

"Yeah, anyways. I'm leaving now" she smiled sarcastically "thank you for nothing" she waved as she closed the door behind her harshly.

Viola stormed down the train back to her compartment where Hermione was trying to comfort Neville.

Flopping down in defeat, Viola Lupin decided she didn't like Harry Potter very much.

The group of first years were all huddled up in a large group outside the hall, muttering nervously.

Viola smirked in amusement by Nevilles side as she watched a boy who introduced himself as Draco Malfoy trying to converse with Harry.

"Red hair, and a hand me down robe. You must be a Weasley" Draco snapped back at the red headed boy who had snickered at Draco's name.

Viola chuckled into her hand watching the dejected look on the boys face. She knew it was wrong to laugh at him but perhaps he shouldn't of been rude to her.

Harry's eyes shot over to her, sending her a scowl.

"I think I can tell the wrong sort for myself thanks" Harry said cooly glancing between Draco and Viola.

And at that moment, Harry Potter decided he didn't like Viola Lupin very much.

First chapters are always weird so it's good to get it out of the way.

I thought I'd do a little flashback from their first year then start to work on Prisoner of Azkaban as that's when we see Remus start teaching and from then work to deathly hallows.

We'll see how it goes. I think I'll just go with the flow tho lmao.
