When Viola Lupin found out Harry Potter had bought all the sweets from the trolly, she automatically decided she didn't like him.
When Harry Potter heard Viola Lupin laugh at Draco Malfoy's joke, he au...

Viola was on her own in her free period in the common room, sticking up the list of Seventh year mentors and first year pairings. Her free periods had once been filled with quidditch training, but as Quidditch had been banned, they had become filled with Head girl duties that she was more than willing to do.
Neville and Seamus walked through the portrait hole muttering while frowning.
"What's happened?" Viola asked as the boys sat down around the fire.
"Alecto Carrow, that's what" Seamus spat in anger
"She was going on all Muggle studies about how muggles are some sort of disease. That they force us to live in hiding and would kill us all if they knew. She started says that we should kill them all before they kill us!" Neville ranted running his hand through his hair. "When we disagreed she threatened us. Told us we'd be spending days down in the cellars at a time!"
"This is ridiculous!" Viola exclaimed throwing her arms up frustratedly " we need to do something"
"But what?" Neville asked
"No idea, leave it with me" Viola waved as she got up and walked out.
The autumn air kissed her cheeks as she walked across the grounds. The birds once sang and the sound of laughter used to catch in the wind. Now there was silence. Silence other than as rustle of the wind rushing through the trees bare branches, the lapping of the lake on the bank.
Hogwarts had lost its magic.
Sitting down on the wet grass she looked across the lake, Watched it's dark waters ripple as gust of wind kissed its surface.
Picking a frail and withered daisy from the grass next to her she twiddled it in between her fingers before gently sending it out into the middle of the lake. She watched it Bob along until it was out of sight before laying down and watching the dark clouds roll in the sky.
She knew that if she was to be caught she'd be in big danger but she couldn't keep herself stuck in the castle any longer.
Laying there until it became dark she decided she should probably make her way back inside.
Viola cursed herself for not bringing the map with her as she snuck through the empty corridors.
She paused as she heard some talking in the distance. Standing around the corner she listened carefully, her back pressed against the wall.
"What are you doing out of bed?!"
"I-I- couldn't remember where my common room is" the trembling voice of a young boy answered.
"This is the second time I have caught you out of bed! I warned you didn't I? I warned you of what would happen!"
"P-please don't hurt me. Please" the little boy whimpered.
Viola had heard all she needed to hear.
Abandoning her hiding stop she rounded the corner and stood protectively infont of the young boy that was looking down the end of Alecto Carrows wand, tears in his eyes.
"Don't hurt him"
"Get out the way!" The Professor snarled trying to push her out of the way "you'll both face punishment"
Viola bent down to the first year "The Hufflepuff common room is just down the corridor and then to the left. It's near the fruit portrait. If you see the portrait you can't miss it" she smiled warmly making the eleven year old boy nod and quickly run away.
"Do you enjoy terrorising children?" Viola asked anger lacing her words "you're sick"
"You'd be willing to take his punishment? You're a stupid little girl" she sneered at Viola as she raised her wand
"I maybe stupid but atleast I'm not psychotic" Viola spat "go on, punish me. Punish me like you and your fucking brother have been talking about for weeks!"
Alecto Carrow had heard enough. Her eyes darkened and lips perturbed into an evil grin.
"Crucio!"
A beam of red light hit Viola square in the chest, throwing her to the floor.
No matter how hard she protested, how hard she tried to prove it didn't bother her, she couldn't do it.
An ear splitting scream slipped through her lips, ringing through the corridors as she writhed in pain on the cold stone slabs.
It felt as if a thousand knives were piercing her skin, pushing through the surface of her skin and puncturing her muscles. It felt as if her lims were being ripped off one by one. A strong ringing pounded in her head and she collided with the wall beside her scratching her cheek as blood dipped down her and onto her shirt. She let out screams and whimpered, thrashing around on the floor trying to ease the pain with no luck.
Her once shiny blond hair now tangled and mattered on the floor with dirt and blood from her cheek. Her finger nails scraped on the stone floor, trying to grip something to help stop the pain.
After what felt like hours the pain ceased. She crawled over towards the side of the wall for protection.
"I hope you've learnt your lesson" Spat Alecto at Violas feet.
"You're fucking insane" Viola croaked, her body still unable to work properly.
As the Professor walked away Viola tucked her knees up to her chest, resting her head in her hands. Gently touching her cheek she looked down to see the blood on her fingertips "fucking bitch" she whispered, unable to speak any louder.
Stumbling up, clutching to the wall, her head pounded. A wave of dizziness washed over her making her wobble a little. Regaining her balance she took small Steps down the corridor towards the Gryffindor common room.
It truly was the worst thing she'd ever had to experience. But if she knew anything it was that she'd take another 100 curses for that innocent first year Hufflepuff.
