Autumn was in full swing had as the leaves wilted. The sky's were dark and the temperature dropped.

Viola was sat chatting with Dean when Professor Snape burst in through the classroom door. His robes blowing behind him as he closed all the windows as he went causing the classroom to be thrown into Darknesses

"Turn to page 394" he said coolly

"So dramatic" Viola rolled her eyes "and for what?"

The class all looked at each other, already fed up and flicked through their books.

"Excuse me sir, where's Professor Lupin?" Harry asked Snape.

Viola knew where her father was. He was currently resting from the previous full moon. Her mother had just left after making sure Remus was okay.

"That's not really your concern, is it Potter?" Snape drawled "suffice to say your Professor finds himself incapable of teaching at the present time. Turn to page 394" he repeated

"Werewolves?" Ron asked

"But sir, we've just been learning about red caps and hinkypunks" Hermione protested "we're not meant to start nocturnal beasts for weeks"

"Quiet" he snapped

Viola knew what he was doing.

"But Professor, we can't start werewolves!" She exclaimed

"And why is that Miss Lupin?" He asked knowingly

"Because we're not on them yet, like Hermione said!"

"I am the teacher and I say that we are doing werewolves. End of discussion"

"No! We can't! I insist!"

"Miss Lupin do I have to-!"

"Anything but werewolves!"

"Detention!" He shouted "now, who can tell me the difference between an animagus and a werewolf?"

Hermiones hand shot up.

"No one? How disappointing"

"Please, sir. An animagmus is a wizard who elects to turn into an animal. A werewolf has no choice. With each full moon a werewolf, when they transform, no longer remembers who they are. He'd kill his best friend if he crossed his path, furthermore, the werewolf only responds to its own kind"

Hermione was interrupted by Draco and Viola.

Draco howled causing Crabbe and Goyle to snicker while Viola pushed back her seat standing up.

"Professor! I insist that we follow the work set by Professor Lupin!" She shouted, worried that one of her classmates could figure out her fathers secret.

"Enough!" Snape shouted "miss Lupin you've earned yourself a week of detention! Now sit down!"

Viola grumbled to herself as she slumped back into her chair. She couldn't give less of a fuck about her detentions. The only thing she cared about was her dad.

"As an antidote to your ignorance, and on my desk my Monday morning. Two rolls of parchment on the werewolf with emphasis on recognising it"

The class groaned as Viola slammed her hand on the table "no!"

"Miss Lupin that's 20 points from Gryffindor!"

"But sir! It's quidditch tomorrow" Harry whined

"Then I suggest you take extra care, Mr Potter" Professor snape quipped "loss of limb will not excuse you. Page 394. The term werewolf is a contraction of the Anglo-Saxon word 'Wer'..." Snape carried on.

Viola didn't pay attention to what he was saying. She was too angry. She tapped her quill on her desk agitatedly trying to release some built up tension.

"Do you mind?" Harry snapped, agitated at her constant tapping

"Oh sorry Potter. I didn't know I was irritating you. I'll stop" she rolled her eyes sarcastically and carried on tapping her quill.

"Do you enjoy being an annoying little git?"

"I do actually. My favourite part of it is when it irritates you"
