"You've both done it, you've found the room of requirement"
"The what?"
"It's known as the come and go room" Hermione explained "it only appears when a person has real need of it and it's always equipped for the seekers needs"
"So-"
"Don't finish what you were going to say" Hermione interrupted Viola.
"It's brilliant! It's like Hogwarts wants us to fight back" Harry said looking around the room in awe
"Okay, don't overanalyse it" Viola replied with a roll of her eyes.
Neville stood worriedly at the front of the line, pointing his wand at the statue before him. He looked back at Viola for reassurance to which she gave a soft nod.
"Expelliamus!"
Nevilles wand shot out of his hand, flying backwards and making everyone in the queue behind him duck quickly.
"I'm hopeless" Neville sighed sadly
"You're not" Harry reassured "you're just flourishing your wand too much. Try it like this Expelliamus"
The wand the statue was hold flew out its hand.
Harry patted Neville on the back as Neville walked to the back of the queue. Viola smiled slightly to herself as the way Harry had treat Neville with such kindness.
"Stunning is one of the most useful spells in your arsenal" Harry informed "it's sort of a wizards bread and butter really. So erm, come on then Nigel. Give it your best shot"
"Stupefy!"
Both Nigel and Harry went flying backwards.
Viola chucked to herself as she watched Harry fall to the floor in a heap before she helped Nigel up.
She smiled to herself knowingly as Hermione and Ron both pointed their wands at each other. Ron had no chance.
"Stupefy!" Hermione shouted throwing Ron of his feet. Viola laughed as she looked down at Ron crumpled at her feet before holding her hand out to help him up.
Ron took it with a small grateful smile.
"I let her do that. It's good manners isn't it?"
"Oh course" Viola smirked
"Completely intentional"
"Obviously" she nodded
Viola, Neville, Seamus and Dean walked through the corridors towards Umbridges office.
"This castles going to be more rules that bricks soon" Dean said pointing to all the rules that were hung up on the walls
As they reached her office, many students were lined up outside.
"What's happening?" Viola asked Ginny
"Umbridge is questioning people" Ginny sighed "I think she's onto us"
It was their third meeting and Harry had everyone practicing all kinds of spells to levitating spells to hexes to mundane curses and defensive charms.
"Working hard is important, but there's something that matters even more- believing in yourself"
"Is that why you're so big headed?"
"Very funny"
"Well, I do try"
"Think of it this way" Harry continued "every great wizard in history had started out as nothing more as we are now. If they can do it, why not us"
"Expelliamus!" Neville shouted disarming Viola
Viola ran forward throwing her arms around Neville and hugging him tightly "I knew you could do it nev" she laughed happily as Harry watched on.
"Fantastic Neville, well done" Harry smiled "now, that's it for the end of this lesson. We're not going to meet again until after the holidays, so just keep practicing on your own as best you can. And Well done, everyone. Well done"
Most of the students had filtered out of the room before Viola had approached Harry.
"Potter, I don't know if you know but Umbridge has been questioning people. I think it might include the use of Veritaserum. I just thought I'd let you know. Yanno? just in case"
"Oh er- thanks" Harry nodded standing there awkwardly
"Oh! And also before you go" Viola added "you've got a letter from my Mum and Dad. I'm assuming it's something to do with Christmas. I think they're wanting you to stay with them for the run up to Christmas Day. We're spending actual Christmas at Grimmauld but I don't think they want you to be at the Dursley's before then" she explained "I-erm I don't mind really if you come. Mum and dad want you there and well I can't imagine not having anyone to spend Christmas wi-"
"Thank you Viola" Harry smiled cutting her off "I know you don't exactly like me but I appreciate you pushing that aside"
"Oh you're welcome" she smiled slightly "later Potter" she waved as she left the near empty room, leaving Harry and Cho.
