"Tell Professor McGonagall Remus and I will handle this side of the castle" Kingsley Shacklebolt informed Dean as he and Remus made their way over into their positions in the castle.
"Yes sir" Dean nodded
Kingsley looked out towards the barrier as small cracks had started to appear.
"Hey Dean! On second throughs, tell Professor McGonagall we might need one or two more wands this side.
Fred and George patted Dean on the back as they passed him, looking out over the grounds.
"It is the quality of one's convictions that determines our success, not the number of followers" Remus spoke up
"Who said that?" Kingsley asked from beside him
"Me"
"You okay Freddie?" George asked just a few meters away from Remus and Kingsley
"Yeah" Fred replied nodding his head
"Me too" George smiled nudging him watching the light crack above them.
"Neville! I swear to fuck! Get back here now!" Viola yelled after Neville as he stood at the far end of the bridge.
Neville spun around shooting Viola a smirk which Viola rolled her eyes at. Their jokey facade didn't last long.
"Shit" Viola breathed as she watched the army of death eaters all charge towards the bridge "Neville! Get back here right now!" She screamed.
Neville flinched as the first few death eaters came stampeding into the barrier, only for them to burst into ash at impact.
"Yeah! You loose army!" Neville taunted
"This idiot" Viola sighed
"Remus!" Rosaleé shouted running over to him and throwing her arms around him
"Rosie? What are you doing here? You should be with Teddy! Where is Ted-"
"Teddy's fine. He's with Louis and my dad. They're safe. They've gone back to France, you know how good my fathers security is over there"
"You should go-"
"No Remus! I'm part of the order, I'm going to fight" Rosaleé protested "what kind of mother would I be if I didn't fight for my children. For our family? Or our kids future?"
"A sensible one" Remus replied
"Being sensible never was one of my strengths" she smiled gently taking Remus' hand as they looked over towards the barrier that was slowly breaking "Where is Vi?"
"With her friends" Remus replied squeezing Rosaleés hand comfortingly "it's Vi. She'll be alright"
Suddenly, a powerful blast of light hit the barrier making the grounds shake at the impact. A rumbling murmur filled the air as Viola and Neville watched the protective bubble break and fry as it slowly disintegrated.
