Viola was sat with her dad in his study above his classroom while he packed his things away. Her mum had left a few hours before after not being able to find Peter. Viola didn't have the faintest idea of what had just happened. Hermione mentioned something about them fixing it? All she knew was that Sirius and Buckbeak were safe.
A quiet knock interrupted her humming as Viola and Remus turned to see Harry.
"Hello Harry" Remus started
"You've been sacked?" Harry asked looking around the room of boxes
"No, no I resigned actually"
"Resigned? Why?" Harry asked
"Are you dense?" Viola quipped as if it was obvious
"It seemed that somebody let slip the nature of my condition. This time tomorrow the owls will start arriving and parents will not want someone, well someone like me teaching"
"But Dumbledore-"
"Dumbledore has done enough. Why do you look so miserable Harry?" Remus asked
"Don't ask him, just let him wallow" Viola yawned from her seat with her feet on the table"
"It didn't make any difference"
"It didn't make any difference? Harry it made all the different in the world. You helped uncover the truth. You saved an innocent man from a terrible fate. It made a great deal of difference. Now, if I am proud of anything it is how much you have learnt this year"
"Helloooo? What about me?"
"You too Vi"
"Now, since I am no longer your teacher I feel no guilt whatsoever in giving this back to you" Remus said handing Harry the map "so now I say goodbye Harry. And I'm sure we'll meet again" he said glancing to Viola "and until then...mischief managed"
Remus placed a kiss on Viola's head and hugged her tightly "see you at home soon Vi" he smiled, picking up his briefcase and making his way out the office as Harry watched him go.
"Well, it seems you managed another year without dying Potter. Congratulations for you I guess" she shrugged walking away.
"Err, thank you?"
"Oh no it wasn't meant to be nice"
Viola groaned at the Gryffindor table utterly fed up with everyone's love for Harry Potter. The whole table marvelled at his new broom that laid infront of her making her unable to eat her lunch.
"A firebolt. The fastest broom in the world!"
"Who sent it?"
"I don't know?" Harry replied to the various questions being thrown at him.
"This came with it" Hermione said holding up a Hippogriff feather.
The group of Gryffindors all ran out of the Great hall after Harry, wanting to watch him fly the broom. Viola trailed quietly at the back. She didn't want to the see Harry fly the broom but she couldn't help it. She was too envious of it to not watch.
Harry shot off into the air while the group cheered and hooted.
Harry only glanced back for a second but was surprised to see Viola standing there watching. There was still a frown on her face but usually she wouldn't never pay Harry any attention.
Brushing off the strange feeling of triumph he had he shot over the Hogwarts grounds. The wind in his hair.
