Viola sat in the Great Hall, silently sobbing over her parents bodies that were laid across the floor on stretchers. Next to them Maisie. Looking over to Maisie she took a hair clip out of her own hair that the girl had complimented many a time and slid it into the hers, holding her dark curls from her face.

She could barely look at her parents. It hurt her too much. It physically pained her.

He eyes stung as her tears ceased to stop, creating a puddle on the floor. Reaching forward she slid the ring back on her mother's finger and interlaced her parents hands.

She pulled back clasping a hand over her mouth, stifling her sobs, not wanting to disrupt the other people mourning.

The Weasley family all gathered around Fred's body on the other side of the room, Crying silently and hugging each other tightly while Viola sat crossed legged by herself as she cried over her parents and the girl she saw as a sister.

She was almost envious of the Weasleys. Almost.
It sounded so horrible. It really did. But they had each other. She had lost her family. She sat there alone as she sobbed painfully.

Still she couldn't expect anyone to come and comfort her. They were mourning their own losses.

But still she was left alone. Who did she have left now?

The doors to the great hall opened as Harry, Ron and Hermione walked in.

Ron seeing his family gathered around, crying and hugging ran over instantly. Followed by Harry and Hermione.

Viola watched them run over, hugging and crying each other as they spotted Fred's body.
Tearing her eyes away she stared up to the ceiling, letting her silence cries rack through her body. She drew circles on her mother's palms like she would do to her when she was little and traced her fathers scars that peaked out from under his jackets sleeve.

She was so alone. So empty. So done. So broken.

She couldn't move any longer. Couldn't make any sound. She just stared at them while tears streamed down her face.

"Where's Vio?" Harry asked Mrs Weasley looking around the room.

Mrs Weasley could only point in her direction before breaking down hysterically once again.

Harry spotted Violas head of blond hair across the room. He furrowed his eyebrows as he watched her sit crossed legged on the floor, staring down at three beds.

Walking over Harry's faced dropped even further at the sight of Remus and Rosaleé laying there, their hands intertwined as Viola stared over their dead bodies, a blank look on her face, her eyes red and puffy but empty.

"Vio..." Harry started walking up to her

Viola finched at his voice but continued to stare down at her parents.

"Viola, look at me" Harry demanded softly

She carried on looking down. It was as if she didn't hear him.

"Viola?" Harry asked becoming increasingly more worried. He dropped to his knees beside her. Taking her head in his hands, forcing her to look at him "it's okay, you're safe"

Viola just looked at him blankly

"Please, talk to me Vio" Harry begged as Violas tears ran quicker "come on, please. For me"

She didn't respond. Harry dropped his hands from her face in defeat as Viola looked back to her parents once again.

Harry's eyes glossed over as Viola went back to tracing circles on Rosaleés hand.

"I've got to go now" Harry said placing a kiss on Violas head "I've got to go" he repeated "I love you"

Viola didn't look up.

Harry ran his fingers through his hair as he turned to leave.

"H-Harry" Viola muttered quietly, still in her daze "I know what you're doing and where you're going. I love you" she sobbed "I'll miss you"

Viola couldn't see the broken look on Harry's face. In a certain way Harry was glad she couldn't. But he just wanted her to move, to look away from them. She just seemed so broken beyond repair.

With that Harry turned and headed out of the Great hall.

As he left, Viola could no longer feel his presence behind her making her break out into another round of sobs. For all her might she tried to be quiet but she couldn't. Her cries rang through the hall making everyone in there send her regretful looks.
Professor McGonagall walked over, stroking Violas hair before helping her up.

"Come on Miss Lupin" she sighed with glassy eyes as she prised Viola off her parents and guided her away "come with me"

"H-Harry's going to go too" Viola whispered as McGonagall lead her away.

"Sh, shhh" she shushed as she guided her away from the prying eyes in the hall.
