Luka's POV:
I felt relieved after I hung up the phone.
At the same time, I sensed the entire thing was far from over.
I knew I sounded like a monster.
Perhaps, in some ways, I was one.
I grew tired of the nagging about my hours.
It was not that big of a deal. I reasoned within myself.
" So, why then did I feel so bad about it?"
Luka's POV:
I refrained from calling Chole.
I knew she would not understand.
I booked a flight to Brazil.
It was about time I left the country.
This way, I had plenty of time to think.
I packed all the essentials I would need for the trip in my suitcase.
It was a good thing, I kept spares at my second home.
Luka's POV:
I drove to the airport in silence.
I arrived in plenty of time.
I paid for my ticket.
I made sure I put it where it was sure to avoid being misplaced.
I listened as the gate number was called, grabbed my suitcase, and boarded the plane.
Luka's POV:
I was grateful I had packed light.
I brought along a smaller bag for the journey in case I found souvenirs.
I sat in seat number 34 A. It seemed there were no other passengers seated next to me.
Well, that was just fined. I preferred it that way.
I breathed a sigh of relief as the plane arrived hours later at the destination.
Perhaps, the fresh air and change of scenery would do me some good.
I smiled as I disembarked the plane with my few pieces of luggage.
"Brazil, here I come!" I shouted.
