      Marinette's POV:

       I stood in denial.

      I stared at the papers.

Sure, enough there in bold print were the words, "Divorce sought by Luka Cuffaine."

I  noticed he had signed the areas for the divorcee.

    I  dropped the papers.

I recalled how Alya brought up the chat room.

Perhaps, I should join with the ladybug.

Yes, it was time I gave myself a chance.

No, A second chance was more like it.

  I signed the document.

I felt as if my heart were stomped on for the last time.

I   sealed the papers that sealed my fate.

I placed them in the envelope.

"Well, here is to new beginnings," I said.

I held up a glass of milk.

I  was not about to drink anything that could have harmed the baby.

    I   drank the milk.

All things considered, Luka made it possible for me not to feel guilty about the singles chat room.

    I    finished the milk.

I ate a few crackers and apple sauce.

I    went online and found the chat.

I clicked on the words, user name, and typed in the words Ladybug.

  Colors: red with black spots

   Additional colors: Pink

   Martial status: Recently divorced

I felt saddened by the fact.

I supposed it would take a while to get used to the fact.

   I   sat down.

  I hit the enter button.

Later, I  saw the chat group pop up.

So, far it was just three other members.

I saw one went by Chat Noir, another by Monkey, and the last by Mermaid.

I had no idea who these people were, but felt like we had much in common.

"Hi,  I am Ladybug."  I typed.

"Ladybug, a pleasure to meet you."  Chat Noir

"Ooh, what a nice name." Monkey

"How unique, our group consists of a bug, a cat, a monkey, and me. "

I  read the rest of what the group said.

       It was most awkward.

   Question for Ladybug from Chat...

    "You single?"

Ladybug to Chat...

Recently divorced, so yes.

Chat to Ladybug...

How dreadful.

I am sorry to hear someone let a lovely lady slip through their fingers.

I, Marinette, blushed when Chat called me lovely.

I knew it was silly.

It was not like he could see me.

I had not been complemented in years.

I  felt as if Chat were a huge flirt, but yet he seemed noble.

Seemed were the keywords.

I  recalled Luka once appeared to be noble, but look at us now.

There was no longer an us.

It was just me and my little bundle of joy.

I sighed.

I hoped one day that my child could have a good life.

Then, again, who was I kidding?

He or she had me, and they had the best godmother ever, Alya and godfather, Nino.

Besides, I thought, Alya was not only my best friend, but she was also almost like a sister to me.
