Nino's POV:
I shook my head.
I felt ticked off.
How was I supposed to refrain from killing him?
"Why that ##^*!" I spat out.
Nino's POV:
I dialed my buddy, Adrien.
Perhaps, he could give me advice.
"Adrien, hi, it is me, Nino."
I noticed he appeared to be a bit quieter than usual.
Odd, I thought usually he is so high strung.
What happened to this guy?
Nino's POV:
"Adrien, tell me I am not losing my mind."
I still received silence over the other end.
"Adrien, I need your help."
I heard him respond.
This time he asked, "Is everything alright with you and Alya?"
"Yes, it is great! No, listen, man. Marinette is all upset and..."
I heard Adrien gasp as if it just dawned on him Marinette was hurting.
I listened as he said some words I dared not to repeat.
"Whoa, man! I did not know Chole did that to you. She is such a *^*^*^*^ " I said a few choice words myself.
I heard Adrien break down over the phone.
I determined to do what it took to bring the spark back into his life.
What could I do?
Nino's POV:
Then, it dawned on me.
I had the best idea ever.
"I will make an appointment for a haircut and a shave. What do you say, man?"
I grinned when I heard his reply back.
Thank goodness some of the old Adrien was still in there.
I hung up and called the salon.
Time for operation Adrien's makeover.
Yes, I thought, bro time is on now!
I knew Alya would probably think it silly.
Who cared? As long as it cheered up Adrien that is what counted.
