Chapter 53. 1

   Here is a bonus section for everyone.

    Marinette's (Ladybug's) POV:

     Achoo! I woke up with a cold.

      "Ladybug, hi!"

      I noticed he no longer sent the face emotions with hearts. Was he mad at me?

      "Hi, yourself, Chat!"

        "A-Achoo!"

      "Bless you, my lady! Sorry, you are feline sick."

        "Feline, sick? Seriously, Chat."

         "I will send you goodies to cheer you up and make you better soon."

          "Chat, you don't have to do  anything, you know."

       "I can't leave my ladybug in her sick condition."

  A few hours later, I got a package on the porch with a box of crackers, a few bottles of ginger ale, a note, and a bowl of chicken noodle soup.

        I bet Chat sent them.

         "Chat, I got the gifts, thanks."

      "Anything for you, my lady."

              "How is the juniornette?"

             "The little juniornette gave me her cold. She is on the mend. She is taking a nap."

             "Awe, glad to hear the little trooper is better."

               "Love you!"😍

                 "I care for you too, Chat."

                 I knew it hurt him that I did not say I loved him.

               The trouble was I did not know if I did.

                How could I?  It was  not like I knew him.

             "What is your number, my lady?"

            "Asking for  a friend."

             "My number is 222-224-4656."

             "Thanks."

          "You are welcome."

           ..."Adrien is trying to reach you."

        I saw a text from Adrien Agreste.

        Ugh.

   Wait, I promised Chat I would be nice to Adrien.

   "Adrien, it was good to hear from you."

    "You are too kind, Ladybug."

     "Chat said you promised him you would be nice."

     "Yes, I did."

     "Why?"

   "Chat is important to me."

    "You are important to Chat too."

      "You ok?"

      " Chole was rather brutal to you."

       "I am fine."

         "Good, 'cause you are Chat's friend, and  I would like you to be my friend too."

         "Deal, friend."

           I thought it strange that Adrien was so shy.

           Then, again, Alya tried to tell me he was.

           It was hard to believe he was the same flirt at Alya and Nino's wedding.

         "Sorry, I flirted with Marinette. I'm not usually that bold."

           "It is alright, I am sure Marinette forgives you."

          "She does?"

           "Yes, she does."

            I was relieved. It was strange to see Ladbybug refer to herself in the third person. I suppose it kept me from noticing.  Little did she know that I already knew.

             "M-ladybug, thanks for giving me a chance."

            "Sure thing, Adrien."

           I ate lunch. Then, decided to check in on Ladybug again as Chat.

          

     In the Chat room...

  "Ladybug, get better soon, babe."

   "I will thanks to you."

   "Well, sweet dreams, love."

    "Same to you, Chat."

   I signed off with a dopey grin on my face.

   Ladybug agreed to be friends with me as Adrien and she did not despise me as Chat either. Things were looking up.  I hoped.
