Chapter 32

  Alya's  POV
   I could not believe it.

   I saw Chole took the bait.

   Well, I hoped this meant that it backfired on her.

   It would serve that bee right if she got stung.

   Yep, if she was dumped.,

  just the way she broke Adrien's heart and ruined everything Marinette and Luka had.

    Somehow, I do not think Marinette and Luka had much, to be honest.

     I mean sure they were married for five years and Luka never found out about the baby.

    Yet, I felt like they did not have what it took for a solid marriage.

     I found it suspicious when he took off in the middle of dating Marinette.

   Then, he came back just like that years later and went back to her.

    Please, the whole thing seemed like bad acting to me.

   I just felt sorry for my best friend, Marinette that she fell for his bad skills, his charming looks, and such.

    I sure hoped this chat room would help Marinette heal.

   Who knows perhaps in time it would.

  I heard Nino got Adrien to join it too.

  I was sure what animal he picked.

   I knew it was not the monkey, and I did not think it was the viper.

   I  smirked when it dawned on me.

    Yes, Chat Noir.

    Adrien must have picked the black cat.

   Well, good because I knew for a fact Marinette was a ladybug.

     I hoped in time they would fall in love and mend each other's broken hearts.

     I texted Nino.

   I let him know how Marinette joined the chat.

   I could tell he was amazed at first, but soon he got over it.

  I was happy that Marinette had something else to occupy her time besides her loss of a marriage that was not great, to begin with. It was rocky from the get-go.

    I  did not Nino about the bad news.

    I could not tell him that Marinette found out Luka wanted a divorce. I swore I would not tell a single soul.  This was hers to tell not mine.

   I  did tell him about the baby.  I knew Marinette was okay with this as she asked me to be the godmother and Nino to be the godfather just in case something happens to her she will know her little one will be well provided for and loved.

    I could tell Nino was thrilled as this meant he could spoil the baby rotten just like me.
