Rover storms off, I sigh and look over at Ranger. He walks over towards me and wraps his arms around me. "I don't want to lose you baby girl." He whispers as he presses his lips against my forehead. "I know dad, but I can't have you sacrificing everything because off me." And that's the truth. Sacrificing everything they have worked so hard for isn't the solution.

"Parents are supposed to protect their children." He says. "I know, but not at this cost." He hugs me close to his chest. Boulder walks over and another set of arms wrap around us. "We want to say something to her Prez." I look over all the guys are standing around me.

"You really handled that well, not many women would have done what you did. But we don't want you to sacrifice everything for us. You are one of us. We will fight for you." My eyes are filled with tears, they have accepted me as family. "There is not one piece of doubt in our mind that one day you will be Rover's wife and we all know that it will be the best thing that will ever have happened to our club. You are nothing like your mother, you know when to behave and what to say. You have our respect." Boulder adds.

One by one the men walk over to me and hug me tight. Ranger is the last one, he places his arms around me and smile at me. "I am so fucking proud of you. But you are not going." His eyes are deadly calm, but I can see that a storm is swirling in the back of his mind. "You can't change my mind. But I will fight my way back here. There is no place I rather be than here with you guys." I answer. "No Alex. End of discussion." He answers stern.

"Stop it. We need to solve this and for that I need you all alive." I say stern and all the guys look interested over at me. "What did you have in mind?" Ranger asks. "First I need to talk to Rover." I say looking at my feet, he will be the hardest to convince I am sure of it. "Yeah you do." Ranger says. I smile up at him and he kisses my forehead.

I walk off towards the gym. I know Rover will be punching hard. I stop next to where he is attacking a punching bag. "Love." I try. He looks at me, his eyes are filled with hate. "Don't call me that." he hisses. "Don't push me away." I plead. "Why not? You threw us out the window as soon as you agreed." Rover says "Clearly I don't mean as much to you as you do to me." He adds salt to the wound.

"I did no such thing." I try. He is not listing he is hitting a boxing bag. "ROVER STOP" I yell and wrap my hands around his arm. He looks baffled at me.

"I NEED YOU RIGHT NOW, SO STOP IT." I yell at him with everything I have got.

"SO, NOW YOU NEED ME? YOU COULD HAVE LISTENED TO ME" He yells back.

"YEAH THAT WOULD HAVE TURNED OUT GREAT, WITH ALL YOUR BODIES IN BAGS." I respond.

He looks at me, he knows I am right.

"Then at least I would have died knowing that I did everything to protect you. Now I just have to watch you go." His eyes are filled with pain and anger.

"YOU ARE NOT LOSING ME." I can't help the screaming, he needs to understand.

"NO? TELL ME THEN WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU HAVE JUST DONE. BECAUSE IT FEELS LIKE I JUST HAVE LOST YOU."

"I WILL FIGHT MY WAY BACK TO YOU." I wrap my arms around his neck. He looks at me with surprise in his eyes.

I take a step closer towards his body. He tries to push me away but I hold my arms tight around him.

"I AM NOT LOSING YOU, UNDERSTAND?" I say loudly.

"THEN PLEASE ENLIGHTEN ME, WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING?" He is fuming by now.

"Sometimes loving someone means letting them go, remember." I try to let him understand. "YEAH, NOT HAPPENING." He spats. "Rover, what's the alternative?" I ask. "We fight them." His answer is always plain and simple. "Yeah and everybody I love will die and then what?" "We won't die." His eyes lock on mine and I can feel that he means every word of what he is saying but it isn't enough.
