Despite being utterly exhausted I stayed by Katie's side while sending everyone else back to their rooms, I would doze of for half an hour every couple hours. Carl came into the room and told me that Dr. Wolfen had arrived. I had Carl stay with Katie while I went to greet my old friend.

"Dr. Wolfen!" I shouted as I his aura came into view.

"Artemis! My girl!" he said as he hugged me, "It's been such a long time. You're much taller than when I last saw you."

"Well it has been four years, kids do grow in the kind of time."

"And you're much more beautiful."

"I am? Really? I didn't know that. But that's beside the point did you bring the medicine?" I asked.

"Yes, behind me got a few trucks with me full of medicine, blood, anything you need. When you throw the Max name in with your request, there a few questions and more giving anything and everything you want. I also brought two assistants along."

"You are a god Dr. Wolfen and we're happy to have your assistants here, as long as they know they can't tell anyone about where they are or what they see or do here"

"I've already ensured that they'll stay quiet."

"Then let's meet them," I replied.

"Neil! Sarah!" Dr. Wolfen yelled.

"Coming!" a girl replied. I saw two auras coming toward us. My blood ran cold when I saw the boy's aura.

"Neil and Sarah, this is Artemis Max; the girl I was talking to you about," Dr. Wolfen said.

"Nice to meet you, my Uncle Frank has told me a lot about you," Sarah said.

"You must be Dr. Wolfen's niece that I've heard so much about," I replied.

"Yeah, but by the way he talks about you I would think you're the one who's related to him," she replied. I laughed a little.

"I'm Neil, it's great to meet the daughter of Christopher Max," the boy said. "Uh..."

"Are you holding out your hand? Sorry blind," I replied as I shook his hand. I felt a very familiar scar on his hand.

"You're blind but Dr. Wolfen said your eyes are better than normal," he questioned.

"Did he now? Well watch this," I said as I took off my glasses and activated my ability, which meant I would be needing much more sleep than before. I regretted it the moment I did. Neil looked exactly like...

"Artemis! We have a problem," Bailey came up and said, the rest of our group was behind her.

"Uh first off Dr. Wolfen, Neil, and Sarah this is Bailey, Mason, Ashley, Brandon, Josh, Winry, and Michael," I replied my ability deactivated then.

"Pleasantries can happen later. Artemis it's Katie," Bailey said.

"Just perfect. Everybody with Strength I need you to drop what your doing and carry the medicine up to the infirmary, please! Dr. Wolfen, please follow them up there. I'll be around soon," I replied.

"Of course, I'll help unload too," he replied then he, Neil, and Sarah walked away. I took a deep breath before turning and walking away before breaking out into a full run, where I was going I didn't know nor did I care.

"Artemis what the heck is going on?" Michael asked once he caught up with me, the others were behind him.

"It's him. Michael, it's him," was all I could manage to get out.

"Artemis, Nick is dead. He's not coming back," Michael said, "No matter how much you want him to, he's not. You need to move on."

"Move on?! It's my fault he's dead! How can I move on?!" I yelled.
