"Artemis what's going on?" Bailey asked.
"Everyone, get behind me," I ordered and they did with little hesitation. I looked at the two Watchers. "Didn't you guys hear that I just got out of the hospital?"
"Really? We didn't know, then this will be all the easier," the first guy replied.
"Think, when have you guys ever been close to getting me even when I was sick or injured?" I asked as I hit the first guy in the stomach with my stick. That start the fight between the three of us, I was able to dodge most of their attacks and it was relatively easy for me to hit them, they were considerably slower than me.
"How could you be this strong?" the second guy asked. Both of them were on the ground breathing hard.
"You must be new, figures that Watchers send newbies after me since the others must be too scared to come, you guys just be happy Carl and Hannah aren't here, 'cause then you'd really be in trouble. So here's the lesson you should've learned during this fight: no matter what happens I will fight until the day I die and when I do someone will come and fight in my place.
"And here is what you should've known before coming here: my name is Artemis Max and I am an SA, the strongest SA. You people took everything from me; my home, my parents, my sight, and my happiness. So I don't like you Watchers very much," I replied.
"It doesn't matter how much you fight we now know where you are," the first guy said.
"Uh huh sure, because that makes all the difference. I want you to tell your boss something for me when he stops sending people after me he'll stop losing Watchers," I said as I hit them in the head again. They were now unconscious.
"Are they dead?!" Ashley yelled as she ran to their sides.
"Nah, they're just unconscious," I said as I poked the second guy with my walking stick. "I think."
"You think?! We have to get them to the hospital!" Ashley yelled.
"Ashley they are trying to kill me and soon you guys too. And they will get taken care of by the other Watchers so don't worry," I replied.
"They're Watchers," Bailey said and I nodded.
"How did you do that?" Ashley asked.
"Did I forget to mention that I've been trained in almost every style of fighting?" I asked.
"Yeah you forgot to mention that," Mason replied. I shrugged and started to walk away.
"Did you not just see yourself? You were totally different," Brandon said following me. Everyone else started to follow me too.
"I've been told my personality changes when I activate my ability, sorry if I freaked you out, it's not the time to be easy when they're around," I replied.
"Where are we going?" Bailey asked.
"My house, we'll be safe there... at least for now," I answered. When we got there I quickly closed the door. "Code 420, exception Hannah and Carl."
"What's Code 420?" Mason asked.
"Total lock down, no one can get in now unless I want them to. And no one else can activate it," I replied, "My parents came up with it."
Then I fell to my knees. "Artemis!" Brandon yelled as he ran to my side. Ashley came over to me as well.
"I'm okay, I just used too much energy, I'm still recovering from the other day. When you activate your ability you don't just use its energy you use your own so when you use it for too long you get weak. Your ability is linked to your life; if you totally exhaust your ability you can die," I replied as Brandon helped me stand up.
