Thankfully Anna, Wade, Nova, and Charlie were already on their way here. I feel bad that I have to keep secrets from the Abilitors, but it's for their safety. I was sitting in my office when I heard screaming. I stood up and moved toward my door, I tried to see the aura of the person in trouble before jumping into action, but I couldn't and then my door opened.

"Artemis!" Josh yelled. "Come with me you have to see this."

I grabbed his hand and he ran me all the way to a room. When people saw me they moved aside giving me a clear view of the room as I activated my ability. I had seen worse. Hell I have done worse, but I was still shocked. The room was trashed and an Abilitor was on the floor dead and her roommate was in the corner sobbing.

I held back my own tears, both girls were only thirteen. I walked over to the roommate. "Come here," I ordered gently. She looked up at me before standing up trying to hold back her tear, but I hugged her. As soon as my arm were around her she cried more. "Don't worry, I'll figure out who did this."

"You will?" she asked through her tears.

"Yes, but for now you'll be in a different room and will be rooming with an older Abilitor, your leader is coming soon so you can room with her for the time being," I replied, "Josh can you take her out of here?"

"Yeah," he replied and grabbed the girl's hand and lead her out of the room while keeping her view of her friend's dead body out of her view.

I went to the nearest intercom and entered my password, "Everyone. Courtyard. Now. No exceptions." I followed the gathered crowd to the courtyard where we joined the rest of the Abilitors.

"I'm... Something happened today, an Abilitor was killed in her room and discovered by her roommate. They are both only thirteen, she just came here three weeks ago. There is a traitor amongst us, I was hoping that they wouldn't do anything more stupid then trying to kill me but this crosses a line. You try to kill me, fine, but don't to dare go after innocent kids." At the mention of another traitor among us everyone grew uncomfortable. "Whoever is doing this better come out now, even if you don't, you will be discovered soon." No one stepped forward. I just nodded, I wasn't exactly expecting for it to work. "Remember that just because one person has done something bad does not mean everyone is bad. Please don't go around accusing everyone else, we need to stay together now more than ever, however if you do have any information I ask you to tell your leaders so they can report it to me. You're all dismissed."

It didn't take long for people to disperse. I easily found Michael. "I need to go to Japan."

"Misaki's place?" he asked.

"Yes," I replied.

"I'll go get the address, be back in a minute," he said before leaving. He came back a couple minutes later and grabbed my hand in seconds we were standing in front of a house. I walked up to the door alone, Micheal was never good at delivering bad news. I knocked on the door a minute later it swung open.

"Are you Misaki's mother?" I asked the woman who stood inside the door.

"Yes and who are you?" she asked.

"My name is Artemis Max and I'm the new leader of the Abilitors, can I come in?" I asked.

"Is something wrong?" she asked.

"This conversation should be held inside," I replied.

"What's happened to my daughter?" she asked.

"She... she was killed," I replied hesitantly.

"What?" she asked.

"I'm so sorry."

"How? How did it happen?"
