The next morning I gathered everyone in the courtyard.

"As your leaders told you, today is the day we fulfill the prophecy; but that does not mean it is a good day. I make it a personal goal as to not lie to you, so here's the truth: we might all die today, but we might not. I just wanted to thank you all, you've all been amazing. None of you complained when I did something irrational, which was quite often, and you all did as I said even if it sounded crazy. Most of you have been here when we uh fired our previous Chief, and then through the traitor fiasco, when I 'disappeared' for five months, and finally when my past was revealed to all of you; no matter what happened you stayed strong and stayed by my side. So thank you.

"Anyway to get down to business, the Teleporters are going to take us to the place we need to be. There our Protectors are going to secure the area while we get ready. Every Abilitor, save the leaders and me, will hold hands and create a circle; the leaders will do the same, and then I will be in the middle. When I say so focus all your energy and thoughts on to me. Everything after that will be... taken care of I guess, so let's get ready and go," I said. "Oh and all normals must stay here. "

"I'm not letting you take my kid!" a mother yelled. There were parents of the small children still there.

"You must understand since all of us will be out the Watchers can't resist; they will come and they will attack. I have a feeling once we start we can't be touched, but that's just the Abilitors I cannot have the Protectors fretting over ever normal who insisted on going. My decision is final," I replied.

"Can we trust you? You did just say that our kids might die," a father pointed out.

"You can trust me," I assured.

"Everyone Artemis is going to do all she can to bring everyone back, so please be cooperative," Nova said. I heard no other outbursts,

"Now that that's settled, let's go," I said. The normals all went inside as the Teleporter prepared to take us to the battlefield.

"Artemis, are you ready for this?" Bailey asked.

"Yeah," I replied. We got into a circle. And the Teleporters checked in with each other to make sure everyone was ready.

"And go!" Michael yelled and then we were taken to the battlefield. The Protectors immediately set out to make the area somewhat secure. And the Abilitors began to get into their circles, I found the middle and stood there. In only a few minutes we were ready, unfortunately, the Watchers arrived. The Protectors leaped into action and began to fight them.

"Everyone! Now!" I yelled over the sounds of the fight. I immediately felt the power of every Abilitor come over me. What do I need to do? That's when I felt an immense power just appear when I opened my eyes I was in a different place. Everything was white there was really nothing to see.

"Where am I?" I asked, but since I was alone no one answered me. Wait how can I see? I haven't activated my ability.

"Anything is possible in this world, even regaining your sight," a voice said.

"What who's there?" I asked. No reply. This is so weird.

"Do not fret young Seer," the voice said. A thought occurred to me. You speak when I think, right?

"You are very smart."

Thanks, can you tell me what's going on?

"You must make your choice."

How? There's nothing here.

"Look again. You have learned to not always trust your sight haven't you?"
