Chapter XXV: Countless Sheeps

It's been four years since the last time I saw her beautiful eyes and her genuine smile, if I had gone to her direction at that time then she might be awake by now. It should be me who got hit and not her, I'm mad at the truck driver but I'm more mad at myself because I just stared at her.

If I had known that it would be the last time that I'll saw her awake and smiling then I wouldn't avoid her at all, I would confess my love for her. I would fucking to everything to make her happy and stay by my side just like what I wanted to but now? I can no longer see her smile nor laugh.

She's been in a state of coma for four years but two year ago, I thought that she was already awake but it turns out that it's just a false alarm. We don't know when she'll wake up, before? She'll held my hand but now? No action response. None at all.

I've already recovered from PTSD two years ago, I can manage my anger issues now but she's not awake so what's the use of it?

In a split second after Drianna got hit by a truck, Nikolai saved my ass and I wasn't able to thank him because like Drianna? He was in a state of coma too and I'm mad at myself because it's my fault. If he didn't do that then he'll be just fine, hindi ko alam kung ano ang pumasok sa isipan niya.

Nikolai is the reason why Azi died and I couldn't forgive him because we saw how selfish and self-centered he was, he knew that it was dangerous to come near that bus but he did to get that stupid key chain but it turns out that Ria gave it to him. He's still carrying it even if the other half of it is burnt.

Then his father blamed Azi for the incident, he manipulate everyone and everything. Their family can barely get by so he had to work at three part time jobs to support himself and his family. They're not that rich and a lot of people are asking for a compensation, how can they pay for it?

Some people even sued his ill father and yet? Nikolai didn't do anything to stop his father. We all know what happened, we were all there when Azi sacrificed himself for him so why is he not doing something to make his father stop?

That's the reason why we hated him...

"Kumain muna tayo tutal maya-maya pa naman matatapos yung nurse". Pag anyaya ko sa kanilang dalawa.

Ngumiti si Takeo sa'kin. "Libre mo?". Tanong niya.

"Oo ako na mag babayad ng kakainin natin". Diretsahan kong sagot sa kaniya para sumama na rin siya kaysa makipag harutan doon sa nurse, mukhang kasal na ata iyon tapos mas matanda pa sa kaniya.

Age is just a number but it can still affect relationships and not to mention that these two came from a strict family, that girl is either married or already engaged to someone she doesn't love but since he has money then problem solved.
