Narcissa read the letter multiple times before sitting down in a seat next to Draco, her fingers trembling. I too was barley holding myself up.

Lucius was sleeping with Pansy. It all made sense now. Why Pansy framed Draco, why Lucius was never around. It made me shudder in disgust.

But wait. This mean... this meant Draco hadn't cheated. It was all going to be okay. With us anyway. I couldn't say the same about Lucius' and Narcissa's relationship.

I took the empty chair next to Draco. "I'm sorry. For not believing you. I should have known you would never lie to me. I'm so sorry Draco."

I leant my head on his shoulder and I felt his head press back against mine. In a whisper, he said"Of course I forgive you. You had every right to be mad. I understand what it would have looked like."

"I can't believe Pansy would do something like that! It's despicable!" I glanced over to Lucius. Draco did the same.

"My father is nothing more than a selfish cow. He disgusts me. I hate him. He deserves to die. I'd kill him right now if I could." He looked at me, his eyes suddenly wide with horror. "Oh my God. Poppy. When Pansy said Lucius was touching you. She didn't mean-"

My throat went dry and I sat up straight, picking at the skin on my nails. "I- I erm. No. It was nothing. I don't know what she was on about. He never- he never t-touched me."

He knew I was lying though. He held my hand to drag me to somewhere more private but I jerked away from him, unintentionally.

"You never used to be like this! Something has obviously happened. Please tell me, Poppy. You don't have to be scared."

I pulled my hoodie to reveal the slight bruises on my wrist where Lucius had grabbed me. "It was before the gathering, before lunch. He came up to me and- and-"

I explained to Draco what happened, both of us tearing up slightly. "I'm so sorry that happened to you. I will do everything I can to make sure that it never happens again." He kissed my hand, "I promise."

"Thank you, Draco." He hugged my slightly, not wanting to make me uncomfortable, as we rejoined the conversation that was going on.

"I- I can't believe it. After all this time, he was with Pansy. She's practically a child. This is too much. It's all too much." Narcissa fretted, her voice coming out fragile.

Everyone gathered around Narcissa, Draco letting her lean her head against his collar. "It's going to be alright, Mum. We'll get it all sorted. He'll spend life in Azkaban. I'll make sure of it."

"You wish." The voice caught us off guard as we all whipped our heads round. Lucius had somehow brown free form Draco's curse and was holding the letter in his hand, wand in the other.

"I'm more powerful than all of you combined. Don't even try to take me on." He sneered, looking slightly deranged.

Draco and I picked up our wands however Lucius almost immediately disarmed us, making our wands fly across the room.

We turned our heads but when we looked back, a puff of black smoke was clearing, no Lucius in sight.

"Shit," Draco fumed.

"Everyone. Please can you just stay upstairs for a moment. I need to be alone... for a while." Narcissa ordered, a slightly dazed look in her eye.

We nodded before scurrying upstairs to sit in Draco's room- the biggest of all of ours. Draco and I sat down on his bed, me in his arms, Blaire and Blaise sitting on the sofa opposite us.
