Ginny had helped me choose our an outfit for tonight because Blaire was obviously in Slytherin so she couldn't help me. Ginny was an excellent substitute though- she probably has the best fashion sense out of her year (though her yule ball dress wasn't exactly a winner I have to admit.)

Ginny had picked out a tight red dress with a v-neck, and ruched sides to the skirt. At first I was sceptical about wearing it- I didn't want to look too dressy or formal. But then Ginny convinced me that I looked, quote, 'sexy as hell,' so I gave in and wore the dress.

Soon enough, the sky darkened and Draco was standing out the portrait door waiting for me. I felt slightly silly when I saw Draco was just wearing loose fitted jeans and a thin shirt. He must have seen my worry because he kissed me on the head and told me how beautiful I looked.

Sneaking out after hours was harder than it used to be. There were teachers (aka death eaters) patrolling the corridors now. It seemed they were at every inch if the castle. I sighed. "Maybe this was t a good idea."

Draco pouted at me. "Please, Pops? This might be your only chance at fun this year, with everything going on! Come on, for me?"

I laughed at him and nodded, secretly wanting to just head back to my own common room. He smiled and took my wrist in his hand and led me all the way down to the dungeons.

Draco was surprisingly good at dodging the teachers. Even with his muscular build, he didn't find it hard to hide.
Soon, we were down at the dungeons, cold as ever. The chilling corridors seemed to squeeze me as though I was being suffocated. It wasn't pleasant.

Draco clearly spoke the password, and I was surprised he allowed me to hear it. He winked at me. "In case you ever need me. I'll tell you when it changes." I smiled.

The common room seemed silent from outside the door but as soon as it opened, I was overwhelmed by the loudness of the music, and the stench of sweat and alcohol. Stunned, I asked, "How come it's already started?"

Draco laughed. "We like an early start down here, and we party all night. It makes the celebrations longer!"

I immediately laid eyes on Blaire and Blaise, a sweaty mess, legs tangled in the corner on one of the sofas, they're mouths seemingly swallowing each other.

Draco and I rolled our eyes simultaneously and trotted over to our friends. Draco whacked Blaise around the head, the lovers pulling away almost instantly.

I laughed as I plopped myself down next to Blaire. "Do, are you and Blaise official?"

Blaire smiled, red in the cheeks. "Yes! Yes we are! Oh god, Poppy he's wonderful! I think I might love him!"

I smiled. but grin, almost scratching up to my eyes. I was so happy for them. I really was. I hugged my best friend then we both got up to get a drink. Blaise was in deep conversation with Draco, presumably about his and Blaire's relationship, so we didn't bother telling them we were going.

Blaire seemed to have made a lot of friends already. "Everyone's so nice. I wish you were in Slytherin, Pops." I smiled. "Well, I'm not as bitchy as you!" We both chuckled , the Blaire poured me a couple shots of vodka before making herself a drink (cranberry juice with way to much vodka.)

Soon, my hair was a mess and my face was red from a night of drinking and partying. I even got Draco to participate in a stripper dance to me (not that I stripped. Though I might have if Draco dissent stop me.)

The party had died down, and most of the Slytherins had gone off to bed or were making out on the spare sofas. I looked up to Draco. "Will you walk me back? I'm drunk and I can hardly remember how to get back. Please?"
