I had writers block during this so it's not my best writing :)

The week didn't get much better. Defence against the Dark Arts was now a required subject so I couldn't drop out like I was planning to after that day Amycus hit me with the cruciatus curse. My body tingled in pain just thinking about it.

Finally, Saturday came about and I lay myself down onto one of the Libraries chairs. The Library was the only sage place in the school that was t being controlled. I had no clue why but I obviously wasn't going to complain.

Draco sat down next to me while Blaire and Blaise shared a beanbag opposite us. The silence in the room was extremely loud. Everything somehow felt different now. The usually roaring fire was not alight in the library anymore for a start. And punishments were actual torture. Literally.

I hadn't been punished anymore this week but I saw no less than 17 people be stunned or tortured by Amycus And it's only a week into term! It was horrifying.

"How about we ditch all of next week? What have we got to lose?" Blaire suggested, sitting up suddenly. Draco scoffed. "Our lives, maybe? You've seen the type of punishments the professors give! God knows what they would do if we skipped."

Blaire immediately sunk back down into her beanbag, a sorrow look on her face. "Yeah I guess. It would have been fun. I wish it was summer again."

The air was definitely colder now, nothing like the summer we had just experienced. It was funny how quickly the weather can change.

"How about we throw a Halloween party? We could hold it in the room of requirement and everyone could dress up!" I suggested.

I could tell Blaire wanted to by the sudden flicker of attention she gave. Blaise tilted his head, a look on his face. "That's just as bad as ditching! Maybe even worse! This beautiful face can not get harmed."

We all laughed, smiled on hit faces, and for a moment it was like old times. Good times. "I think it's a fun idea! A night of freedom." Draco said, pulling me closer to his side.

I grinned. "Yeah! And we can get the word out by all of us telling people. And we can tell them how to get it! Please, Blaise. It would be so much fun!"

We all pouted at him, Blaise shaking his head. A sly smile creeped onto Blaire's face. She whispered something in his ear that made his cheeks go ever so slightly pink. He smiled. "Okay. Let's do it!"

I was curious as to what Blaire said to him, but decided that I didn't really want to know- I had a good guess at what she said anyway. I was grinning from ear to ear now, excited to focus on something new.

50 more students have been taken out of Hogwarts this term and it's only the end of September. I didn't blame them. Hogwarts is a dangerous place now. Without Dumbledore, things have gotten eerily dark. It was no longer the same home everyone escaped too. It was more like a prison than a school.

One day, on October first, the word about the Halloween party was making its way around the school. More than once people came up to me and thanked me for giving the school a bit of happiness and fun. I smiled at them, thankful for a bit of reassurance.

We were sitting down after a long school day, our uniform creased from lack of care. "What's everyone going to be for the Halloween party? Pops, you should outshine everyone because it's not your event." Blaire told me.

I laughed at her. "When was the last time I wanted to be the centre of attention. You know I hate the spotlight." Draco laughed and pulled me close. "But you're so beautiful, darling. You'd look amazing whatever you wear." His eyes lit up. "We should wear matching costumes! I'll be the Romeo to your Juliet!"
