Sofia tried really heard to keep her emotions in check, but when someone is that beautiful, you can't help but make a fool out yourself. And, holy shit, did Sofia embarrass the shit outta herself. But, it did get the kids to laugh after a really hard day, so she didn't all that much. It was still fucken embarrassing though.
However, it was now a new week, and so far, she's smiled at Y/n a dozen times, and even talked to her between the scenes without making a fool out of herself. So, she counted it as a good day. At least, so far. The day was only half over, she had the other half to still get through. But, so far, so good.
As the crew changed scenes, Sofia was over at the food table, picking up a cupcake that were just too good to resist. The frosting was this cream cheese flavor that Sofia just wanted to smother herself inside. But, the noises that she made from eating this cupcake (noises that she didn't know she made) were more like moans of pleasure, not groans of eating something delicious. "Good cupcake?" Sofia jumped, not expecting Y/n to just appear like that.
"Really good. I've never had one like it." Y/n gives a chuckle, picking up a cupcake, and taking a bit. She nods as she eats, feeling the same way.
"It's good."
"Mom!" Turning, the two women spotted Aiden jogging towards them, a smile on his lips.
"Hey buddy! Finish your scene?" He gives a nod, picking up an apple.
"It was so fun! And I was able to hit my dance move!" He says excitedly, which was a huge deal for him. The six year old took the whole weekend to get that move correct, but he just wasn't able too. He had gotten so close, and he was scared he'd mess up today.
"I told you! It just took some time and practice! I'm so proud of you baby!" He gives his mom a high five, then looks at his co-star, giving her a smile that looked a bit mischievous.
"Have you asked my mom out yet?" Both women choke on their cupcakes, patting their chest like it would help.
"Aiden." Y/n looks at her son, but he sends her an innocent look.
"What? She loves you! And we're kids, we can see it. My mom's gay too! And I'd like you as my step-mom."
"Kid! Oh my, go. Just go back to the others." He shrugs his shoulders, then races back to the the others, knowing they're waiting for him.
"Kids say the darnest things.... right?" Sofia tries to joke, but Y/n crosses her arms, raising an eyebrow.
"He does, but not like that. But, it brings up an excellent question. Do you have a crush on me Miss Carson?" The actress blushes, stuttering as she tries to say something, but Y/n giggles. "You're cute, and hey, my son gave you his approval. That means a lo, honestly. So, if I were you, you shouldn't waste it." The young mom hints.
Sofia stares, opening and closing her mouth a few times, before straightening up, and sending Y/n a smile. "Y/n, will you go out with me?"
Y/n hums, tapping her cheek as she thinks. "Lets see." She tries to build tension, but a ile quickly takes over her lips. "I would love to go out with you." They hear cheers from the kids behind them, earning the two adults laughs. And maybe Aiden will get Sofia as a step-mom.
