In all her years of acting and touring around, Naya has never seen an airport this busy. It's like there was a sale, and everyone booked their flight for the same day. It's ridiculous, and pissing Naya off. She couldn't even get a parking spot, causing her anxiety level to rise, and to get a bit paranoid. But after several minutes, she finds a spot - at the top level of the parking garage - then checks the time.
After grabbing everything, and sliding her sunglasses on, beeps the car, then heads towards and down the stairs. Naya speed walks towards the airport, passing people who are walking slowly, then sighs loudly when the stupid walking light takes more then three minutes to change. But when it does finally change over, Naya nearly runs across the crosswalk and into the building.
When the actress arrives at the area, she's gives a sigh of relief because the plane was barely landing. Now was the worst waiting game ever. But, only after a few minutes, the passengers are walking down the terminal, and Naya was anxiously awaiting her girlfriend to exit. And then she saw that purple carry on Y/n always takes on the plane, and a older woman hanging off her arm. Which, was a pleasant surprise, but brought a smile to her lips. Then watched as the woman points towards a small family, where a teenager was already walking over. The older woman kissed her girlfriend's cheek, then gave it a pat before hugging who Naya believed to be her granddaughter.
When Y/n spots her girlfriend, she immediately takes off towards Naya, dropping her bag, before jumping into her lovers arms. "I missed you," was mumbled against Naya's neck, making her smile as she held Y/n tighter.
"I missed you too. So much. It's been so fucken long." The actress whispers, before pulling back and kissing her girlfriend softly. Y/n giggles as she kisses back, but they don't get too carried away thanks to Y/n's stomach protesting. As Y/n blushes, Naya laughs.
"Let's get your bags, then food?" Y/n gives a nod, grabbing her purple bag, but before they could leave, the family of four walks up to Y/n.
"We just want to thank you for what you did. No one else would've done something so generous like that, and we deeply appreciate it. We don't know how to repay you-"
"No no. No repayment needed. Your mother was a joy to talk to. She helped me a lot while on the plane. I'm not a big fan, but she got me through it. And her stories were amazing to listen too. So, if anything, thank you for helping me." The older woman chuckles, giving Y/n another hug.
"She's a keeper!" The older woman yells to Naya, making both ladies blush. Naya gives a nod in return, and soon the family's walking off, and Y/n's sliding next to her girlfriend.
"You have to tell me the story over lunch, yea?" Y/n gives a nod, then they walk towards baggage, before heading towards the car park. Y/n knows that in less than two weeks she'll have to fly to London for work, once again, but she misses her girlfriend, and most definitely make the most of the weeks they have together.
