It started with an innocent tweet. Y/n saying she wanted to collab with Kelly Rowland because how can anyone not want to collab with such a sexy woman. And that, got everyone talking. Y/n's fans went crazy, tweeting at the other singer and begging for her to collab with their favorite singer.
And then, to make everything even crazier, Kelly replied back, sending a simple winky face to the other singer with 'DM me' as a reply. Even celebrities started to wonder if that collab was gonna happen. But, after the first tweet back, that's when the flirting started to happen, along with those 'innuendos' that the fans saw right though.
It was great enough of a mystery that even Beyonce had sent out a tweet that only had the two singers handles and a question mark. And in secret, the legendary singer called her best friend to ask what was up, but her friend had simply said it was harmless flirting.
There were a lot of theories though. Both between the fans and celebrities. Some saying the tweets were merely about the upcoming collab. Others were say they just wanted to give people something to talk about. But most fans did have one thing in common, they wanted the two singers together.
It was the night of the AMA awards and people were excited but nervous. Wondering who would win, and if they would win. Of course, most had already thought of the idea of not winning and were rather okay with the idea. Disappointing, but okay.
When Y/n stepped on the the red carpet, the cameras went crazy. Photographers yelling all different questions at her or telling her what to do. It was slightly annoying, but today was a big day and no one was gonna bring her down. And just as she got to the end carpet, more scream and yells came from the beginning of the carpet, letting her know that Kelly had arrived. The two women lock eyes, Kelly giving a subtle nod, moving Y/n into action. She apologized to the interviewer first, before making her way to the singer at the beginning of the carpet. And when they were mere inches away, Kelly reached for Y/n and pulled her into a deep kiss that surprised but thrilled everyone. And within seconds, the picture went viral, showing everyone that their theories - the ones who had believed they were actually together - were right.
