"We are not naming this child after my character!" Maria argued, pinching the bridge on her nose as she gave a sigh.
"But it's a beautiful name! And it's trending!" Y/n argues, but Maria doesn't want to hear it.
"No, Y/n. Besides, Lindsey brags about Raven being named after her!"
"Then, you can brag too." Her pregnant wife tries to get her use to the idea of having her second child named about another character on the show she was on. But Maria wasn't having it.
"I love you, but no. Sorry baby." Y/n gives a pout, sighing as she lays against the couch, upset.
So mean, wouldn't let her wife - who's fucken pregnant and pushing a baby out of her vagina for the second time - name a baby after a character. A stupid character that wasn't hot or anything. Just a normal character. Stupid Octavia. Stupid Maria.
"Quit it." Looking up, Maria was giving her a look, but Y/n furrowed her eyebrows. "I know you're cursing at me in your head, I see the crinkle." Y/n gives her wife a glare, then crosses her arms.
"You deserve it," she mumbles under her breath, hoping Maria hears, but when her wife asks what she said, Y/n gives a smirk. "Nothing dear." She replies sweetly, earning a glare.
"Do you have any names though? I mean, I know they won't be as good as Octavia, but I'll listen to them." Maria chuckles as she fixes her wife a snack.
The slightly older woman gives a hum, putting the peanut butter away as she thinks. "Uh, Nicola is a beautiful name. As is Alva."
"Alva? I never heard of that name."
"Or Freya, that's a beautiful name too."
Y/n nods, but tears well in her eyes. She really wanted this baby's name to be Octavia, but she's immediately loving Alva and Freya.
"You're an asshole." Y/n sobs out, causing Maria to panic slightly. "I wanted Octavia, but you picked two beautiful names and now I'm confused!" Y/n sobs out, a small giggles comes from Maria, which earns her a glare.
The plate with pickles and peanut butter spread all over is set in front of Y/n, and a few napkins is set beside it. "I'm sorry love."
"No, you're not." Her wife tells before biting into the tangy smooth snack.
"How about we wait until she's born, then we choose, okay?" Maria asks, sitting next to her wife as she brings up the camera from their daughter's room.
"Fine, but you have to think over Octavia, please?" Maria gives a nod, earning a kiss from her wife, who happily munches on her snack with a smile.
