Not seeing her sister for over six months was torture, so stepping into the area where her sister was warming up her voice, was thrilling. The security led her backstage, where the group, Little Mix was warming up as well. Y/n gave them a warm smile, introducing herself, before excusing herself as she walked up the steps.
"Demi!" Y/n screamed, getting her sister's attention. The singer bolted towards her, both women crying against each other as they rocked and hugged each other tightly.
"You're here? For how long?" Demi mumbled, before pulling away.
"Only a few days, but I missed you. I needed to see my big sister." Demi chuckled, pulling her baby sister back into a tight hug.
"I missed you too little one. So so so much." The singer kissed her sister's forehead, but continued their hug. After a few seconds, Demi pulls away, wiping her sister's remaining tears, as Y/n does the same to Demi.
"Okay, sit, I need to finish, and then we can get something to eat and I'll introduce you to people." Demi told as she took Y/n over to the steps, and gently pushed her down.
For 20 minutes, Y/n watched her older sister sing her heart out, smiling proudly when she hits those high notes. She was so fucken proud of her big sister. Y/n sang softly with Demi, closing her eyes as the music swept over her.
Y/n cheered loudly when it was over, earning a eyeroll from Demi, but the singer still smiled. Y/n chuckled, wrapping her arms around her sister, as they walked off the stage, and headed to where ever, but that ended up being in catering. The food was good, and Y/n kinda had to urge Demi to eat, so she fed her sister pieces, pretending for her sister to be a princess who didn't like to feed herself. It was stupid, but got her sister to eat.
"Girls! Come meet my baby sister!" Demi called to the ladies of Little Mix, who happily came over. "Ladies, this is my beautiful baby sister, Y/n. Y/n, these are the ladies of Little Mix; Jesy, Perrie, Jade and Leigh-Anne."
"Great to meet you, again. Hope my sister isn't being too much of a brat." Demi scoffs, nudging Y/n, but the ladies assure she's not.
"Demi, we need you real quick." Someone called from the door, causing the singer to nod, then kiss her baby sister's forehead.
"I'll be back." Y/n gives a nod, then watches her sister leave.
"You ladies can sit, it's no problem." They of course take the offer, but first, food. They get to know each other first, but Jade and Y/n hit it off.
And while Y/n's there, she spends her time between the British singer and her sister. And thankfully, Demi doesn't know of the shared soft kiss between Y/n and Jade, but Jade's bandmates know, because they were the one's that caught them. After exchanging numbers, Y/n sadly has to go back to school, and there's a lot of tears, but knows she now has a girlfriend that she gets to talk to and her sister is doing better than ever.
Luckily, for over three months, Demi doesn't find out about their relationship, but does find out when Jade messages her just as Demi's using Y/n's phone to call hers.
Jade😚: Hey baby girl, just thinkin' about ya! Can't wait to see you soon! 😗😗
Demi looks at the message, not knowing what to think at first. But then starts to freak. Y/n, her baby sister, is dating a famous singer. Why didn't Y/n tell her? Why didn't Jade? Was this Jade's idea? Was Jade the one that told her to keep quiet?
"Demi! I found it!" Y/n called out happily, causing Demi to quickly exit out of the app, and pull up the call log.
"Where was it?" She asked as Y/n came into the room.
"Living room." With a kiss to the cheek, Y/n hands back her sister's phone, and grabs her own, then heads back into the bedroom. Demi stays in her spot, wanting to call after her sister to ask about Jade, but last time she interfered with Y/n's relationship, she got yelled at and was told she was overprotective. But Y/n's her baby sister! She had every fucken right to be overprotective! And besides, that cheating asshole got what he had coming. Teach him to cheat on her baby sister.
Taking a deep breath, she told herself that if Y/n starts acting out of the ordinary, then she'll say something, but for now, she needed to relax, because Y/n is old enough to take care of herself. And she doesn't need her older sister hovering over her, worrying about her relationships. No matter how bad Demi wanted too. But she trusted her sister, less so then Jade at the moment, but trusts the other singer more than all her sister's exs. Either way, no being a helicopter sibling, at least, she'll try not to be.
