Karla steals a kiss from her girlfriends' first, before standing by Rachel. Rachel does the same, but Quinn gives her a peck before she stands by her teammate and best friend.
The lights dimmed after the announcer announced them onto the stage. The audience gave a polite clap, before quieting down. The spotlight lit up Karla first as the music begun.

The audience cheered for the two ladies, before a more upbeat song started. The New Directions got into their groups, clapping as they sang beautifully as a choir.

"And now... The National Winners are.... THE NEW DIRECTIONS!" Friends and family cheered for their son or daughter, and the choir group gave a giant group hug before individually kissing their partners. When Mr. Schue held up the trophy, they all cheered, knowing this was what they were working up too.
