"Now, for my next special guests, they are absolutely the cutest couple in the world. One has a new album and movie coming out on the same day, and the other is just listening to Shawn Mendes' songs while in the sun, please welcome Y/n Y/l/n and Mariah Carey!" The crowd cheers for the cute couple, who walks out holding hands, smiling brightly.
Jimmy smiles brightly, hugging the two ladies before letting them sit down. "Ladies, it's good to finally have you here together! It's always a day before one another, but not this time!" He cheers, a proud smile coming to his lips. The crowd cheers with him, while the two singers chuckle.
"It's been tough, but it's you Jimmy! We couldn't say no to you!" The audience awe's while the host blushes. "But yeah, we thought it was just time to come on here, relax and talk with you."
"Well thank you! How are you two doing? Especially you, Y/n? You have a movie and multiple of your tweets alluded to an album coming out soon."
The singer chuckles, clearing her throat ready for the big surprise. "Yes! And about that, as of this moment, my newest single Moonlight is available to download, stream, buy on any and all platforms!" She cheers, some members of the audience immediately pull out their phones, and her own phone no doubt blowing up with messages.
"Oh wow, that's incredible!"
"And yes, my movie! I really have to thank Gal Gadot who helped me so much with the movie. She's an amazing director and was so patient with me, she's just incredible." Jimmy holds up a picture of both Gal and Y/n hugging, causing the audience to go crazy.
"She also gave you something for your birthday, right?"
"Yes! So, everyone, my fans, know I'm a huge fan of Games of Thrones, and somehow she got me Arya's sword that Maisie used. Like, the real thing. And I freaked. Hardcore."
"Oh wow, that must've been a lot. Now, what are you doing for your birthday? Any exclusive parties?"
"Actually, I'm having a quiet night in with Mariah. I'm getting way too old for parties."
Jimmy scoffs out a laugh, sending the singer a smile. "You're still in your early twenties though!" Y/n looks over at Mariah, shock coming across her face as her girlfriend nods.
"I'm not in my early twenties. I'm in my late thirties. I'm 38." The room goes silent, and both women are sure their phones are exploding with notifications.
"I- you're 38? B-but an interview, you-"
"I said sure, because he asked if he was invited to my 23rd birthday. I thought he was just joking about me being 23. And can I just say, I see all those rude comments you leave about Mariah ruining my life and innocence, I haven't been innocent since I was 15. Quit with the comments, all of you assumed I was young, but no one straight out asked me how old I was. Quit calling my girlfriend a cougar and cradle snatcher. It's rude." Y/n rolled her eyes, shaking her head. The audience is still shocked and it's hard to get the show going after that announcement.
Once the show is over, once the revelation of Y/n's age and her newest single comes to light, that's all anyone could talk about. And she got quite a few apologizes from it, telling both ladies it was rude to judge and assume things. At least both singers are happy no one hates them together now.
