I came back for you

6:"drive"

"I am going on a business trip with Ohm today. We are going to see some inventory for our deal. I will just be gone two days. You better behave while I am gone" -Tay told Earth while they were having breakfast at the patio outside in the garden.

"Mm. I want to go see Fluke. You said I could go once a week" - Earth said while eating some fruit.

"You can go when I come back"-Tay didn't trust Earth especially with Fluke. He knew Fluke hated him and their marriage.

"But you said I could go once a week. I want to go see him. I am just going to his house that's it." -Earth missed Fluke. He didn't go before because of the marks Tay left the last time.

Tay stood up because he had to go to work. He got near Earth leaned down grabbed both his cheeks with one hand and said "you can go for a little bit but you better come back home, no sleepovers, behave and you are going nowhere without the bodyguard." He then gave a harsh kiss on Earth's lips.

On the way out Tay saw Kao.
"He is going to his friend's house today. Don't leave his side."-Tay

"Yes" -Kao was actually happy that Earth would leave the house. He would be able to be with him alone.

Earth was getting ready to go out and see Fluke. He was a bit nervous because he was going to be alone with Kao on the way there. He wore some black pants, white shirt and a black sweater. As soon as he opened the door, Kao was standing there smiling. Earth looked at him without expression and started walking downstairs.

"Where we going?" -Kao said opening the backseat door of the car for him

"Fluke"-Earth replied and got in the car.

As they were on their way to Fluke's house, Kao kept staring at Earth through the rare-view mirror. Earth was on his phone trying to ignore that situation he was in. He was still complicated with having Kao near him but he needed to know why Kao was there.

Even after seeing Kao that day he was introduced as his bodyguard, Earth kept his feeling hidden deep inside his heart. He couldn't cry anymore, he cried so many times before. The first months of his marriage it was the only thing he did when he was alone only because he promised himself that Tay would never see him cry.

"Why are you here?"- Earth finally broke the awkward silence in the car.

"For you"-Kao was honest

Earth rolled his eyes. "You are a little too late aren't you?"

Kao stopped the car on the side of the road. Earth's eyes widened. Kao took off his seatbelt and turned around to look at Earth. Earth ignored his gaze and looked out the window.

"I know you are mad. I know you might hate me right now but I promised I'll fix everything. I promise I came back for you. I know it has been too long, I just want you to kn-" -Kao

"Drive! I don't want to hear it. Forget I asked anything." -Earth told Kao still looking out the window. He was holding back tears and his heart ache so bad he felt like vomiting.

"Drive!"

Kao looked at Earth and knew that he had to stop talking before Earth became angrier. He drove to Fluke's house and Earth didn't wait for Kao to open the door for him, he just went out the car and into Fluke's house.
Earth went to the kitchen where he knew Fluke would be.
"Hey. You are finally here. I was getting worried. Look I made-
What are you doing here?"-Fluke was surprised seeing Kao with Earth.

"He is my new bodyguard, isn't that cool?" Earth said sarcastically.

Earth saw no reaction when he told the news to Fluke.

"You knew?" -Earth asked Fluke

"Ohm told me but I thought he was kidding" -Fluke

"Unbelievable!" Earth screamed as he started to walk out the house.

Fluke and Kao went after Earth. Kao grabbed Earth wrist and Earth flinched a little because he felt pain. He had a bruise that Tay made.

"Ouch!" Earth quickly moved his hand away from Kao. "Do not fckn touch me again!"

Kao was surprised but he understood that Earth hated him right now.

"Earth don't leave please. We only get to see each other for a little bit. Please. I'm sorry okay? I didn't mean to hide it. I'm sorry. Please" -Fluke missed Earth and didn't get to see him often.

"Wait for me outside" -Earth told Kao who just nodded.

Fluke and Earth had lunch together. They chatted about Fluke's restaurant and family and about Earth's garden. Fluke didn't have the courage to ask him about Kao. Even when he asked something about Tay, Earth would change the subject.

It was already late and dark outside. Earth received a call from Tay. He went to Fluke's backyard and answered the call.

"What?"-Earth

"I called home and you still not there. I said you could stay only for a little while"-Tay

"I lost track of time. I am just spending time with Fluke in his house. Why is that so wrong?"

"Go back home. Now." -Tay ended the call

"Fluke, -"

"I know, you need to go. You are just here with me. Why is he like this? Can't you stay over?"

"I can't, I'll call you tomorrow, okay?"

Fluke hugged Earth and walked him outside where Kao was waiting with the car.

On the way back to the mansion, Kao and Earth were silent. Earth opened his car window and let the fresh air in. He was staring at the lights and the sky when suddenly he started to fall asleep. Kao watched him through the mirror. Earth seemed skinnier, pale, his hair was longer but still so beautiful. He missed him so much.
