Earth was at his garden receiving the plants that were coming in from the nursery. He knew Tay was home already but he was in his home office since he came back.
Most of the plants needed gardening but it was already getting dark so he decided to leave them as they were until tomorrow.
He went to Tay's home office to try and figure out what happened with Xon corporations. He was about to go in when he heard Tay on the phone. He stood behind the door to listen.
"Leave him there for a couple more nights. I am tired of him. Don't let him make any phone calls. I already pay the bar for what happened." -Tay. Earth knew right away that Tay was talking about his father.
He didn't go in the office, instead he ran upstairs. He went into his closet and took the phone he hid with the picture he had with Kao.
He called Kao.
"Hey." -Earth
"I miss you already" -Kao. Earth smiled hearing his voice.
"Can you do something for me?" -Earth
"Of course."
"Can you find out where my dad is?" -Earth
"Why?" -Kao
Earth was silent.
"I'll do it"
"Thank you."
"I love you."
"I love you too." -Earth
Kao knew where Pat was. He was still in jail after his last arrest. Tay didn't bail him out. He was tired of Pat.

Kao went to jail where Pat has been held. He was willing to help Earth at any costs. He hated Pat. He took some deep breaths before going in. He paid the fine and waited outside for him.
He saw Pat. He looked older.
Pat looked at Kao and just laughed. He wasn't shocked. Tay showed Pat a picture and resume of who Earth's new bodyguard was when he first hired him. Pat didn't say anything. He didn't want Tay to know and become angry. Pat always refused to tell him who Earth was in love back then.
"Why are you laughing? I was the one to get you out." Kao said annoyed
"You wanna humiliate me now? You can put me back and get your money" Pat said angrily.
"Yeah? Ok lets do that. Maybe you'll stay in there for more than a month. I don't think Tay will come bail you out any time soon" -Kao
"Tay is my son. He is a little mad but he will come around" Pat said staring back at Kao. Kao rolled his eyes but laughed a little.
"You are an idiot"
"You talk to your elders like that? This is why you were never good enough for my son."
"And Tay is? Why? Because he gives you money? I don't think it is because he makes your son very happy." -Kao said making Pat expression change.
"What do you think Tay will do when I tell him who you are?" -Pat said
"He knows who I am. He knows I am the CEO of Xon corporations. We have a deal and if he pulls it by knowing that I am Earth's man then it can be bad. He can lose a lot and I mean a lot of money. I don't think you want that." -Kao. Pat was shocked. He didn't know what to say.
"You better stay quiet." -Kao threatened him
"Or what?"
"Or I'll put you in the same jail I put my father in. My father will be happy to see you. You know, I have planning everything perfectly to get Earth back and you will not ruin it again." -Kao said with a straight face. He looked evil but he needed Pat to surrender
"Earth won't let that happen." -Pat knew Earth would help him through anything
"Then why have you been here for a month?" -Kao said.
"I'll let you call Earth. Get in" Kao said opening the door of his car so Pat would go in.
Pat ignored him and walked the other way. Kao just sighed but didn't go after him.

It was Sunday already and Earth went downstairs to have breakfast.
"Where's Tay?" Earth asked Sammy.
"In his office. I think he is mad. He has been yelling on the phone since he woke up." -Sammy told Earth
Earth walked to the home office but Sammy hold his hand
"What are you doing? Don't go in there." -Sammy was worried that Tay might lose control and hurt him.
"I just want to listen." -Sammy and Earth stood behind the door listening to what Tay was saying.
"Did you find him? Where the fuck is he? I didn't pay his bail so how is he out? You piece of shit! Fix this! Find him! Now!" -Tay yelled on the phone
Earth knew he was talking about his father. Did Kao bail him out of jail? Where is his father?
Sammy and Earth went back to the kitchen. Sammy pulled Earth away from the home office.
"Do you think my dad is ok?" -Earth
"Yeah" -Sammy didn't know.
Earth spent more time on the kitchen with Sammy. Earth didn't see her as a friend yet but he knew Sammy cared about him. He hadn't spent more than five minutes on that kitchen in the four years he lived there.
