43: "name"

"I think this one is the one" -Fluke told Ohm. They were looking at houses but nothing would grab Fluke's attention until now. Ohm was already tired of all the houses they had looked at and Yin looked annoyed too.

"Then this one it is, right?" -Ohm asked Yin and Yin quickly nodded.

"We will take this one" -Ohm told the lady that was showing the houses to them.

Fluke was happy. He knew both of them were annoyed and tired already but he wanted a good house where Yin could grow up.

They would be able to move in a week.

"Did you do it?" -Kao was on the phone with Jack. Jack would help him take care of Pat.

"Yes. He is yelling that he wants to call Earth" -Jack said.

"I'll go see him" -Kao said and hanged up.

Earth was in his office doing some work. He called for his secretary but she wasn't there. He wanted some coffee. He had coffee maker in his office but he had run out of milk. He walked out to the small kitchen for employees to get some milk for his coffee when he heard a conversation.

"I heard he is dating someone else already. Isn't too soon?" -an employee said. They were supposedly whispering but Earth could hear.

"My friend is the secretary of Mr. Napat. She told me that he has been dating him. Even worse they have been together before he became a widow" -Earth's secretary said.

"Really? Doesn't he have some decency? Cheating on your dying husband? How horrible." -the employee said.

Earth's face saddened. He did sound like a terrible person. He was about to leave back to his office but he heard something that he couldn't let pass.

"Mr. Napat has a son too. It is the boy he brings here. How shameless. Imagine being him. Poor kid" -Earth's secretary said and now he was angry. No one would talk about War.

"Do you come here to work or gossip?" -Earth said walking in the kitchen. The two employees were startled and their eyes widened. They look scared and didn't know what to do.

"Mr. Ting, we--" -Earth's secretary was going to say something but Earth didn't let her. 

"Go back to your job. And to the both of you, I better not hear anything like that again because there will be consequences" -Earth said. They both nodded and looked at the ground. The other employee left and when Earth's secretary was about to leave he stood in front of her.

"My personal life is non of your fucking business. And tell your friend, Yiwha that if she has a problem with anything she can tell her boss or me. I am giving you a warning. Get me some coffee" -Earth said. He stared her down. His eyes were full of anger and she could see it.

"I apologize Mr. Ting. It won't happen again." -the secretary said.

"It better not" -Earth said and walked out. He passed through the place where the other employee works and gave her a glare. She could only look at her computer.

He went in his office and took some deep breaths. He felt like vomiting.

The secretary came a couple of minutes later with Earth's coffee. She looked nervous and scared. Earth realized that being nice was not a good choice. He had to be scary and mean like Tay. That is why everyone respected him.

Earth and Kao had hired a driver to pick up War from school and take him to whichever company they agree that day. Sometimes Earth would leave early just to pick him up and take him home.
