34: "cold" 🔞

Earth woke up to an empty bed. He immediately went downstairs.

"Where is Tay?" -Earth asked Camila.

"Having breakfast in the patio" -Camila answered. Earth went outside. He saw Tay reading some documents and drinking some coffee.

"Can you drink caffeine?" -Earth asked. He had to get informed on everything Tay wasn't allowed to do.

"Sit down. Have breakfast" -Tay said without looking at him.

"Why are you dressed? You should stay here" -Earth said looking at Tay.

"I need to go to work" -Tay said without looking anywhere but his documents.

"I think you should stay. What if you feel sick when you are at the office?" -Earth said worried but Tay didn't reply. Camila brought Earth his breakfast. He would always hate having breakfast with Tay but today he felt different.

They had breakfast together and Tay stood up to leave. He grabbed his documents and left without even looking at Earth.

"You need to stay here, Tay" -Earth said. He was following Tay.

Tay stopped walking and turned around to look at him.

"Stop it" Tay said. He wasn't screaming or raising his voice. "Listen don't do this anymore, okay? I'll take care of this on my own. Don't get involved." -Tay said looking straight into Earth's eyes. He then left the house.

Earth wouldn't do that tho. He couldn't let Tay handle this by himself. Earth went upstairs to take a shower and get ready. He would go to the hospital to talk to Pha's father about this.

"Are you sure you want to do this?" -Fluke asked Ohm. They were inside their car parked at the orphanage's parking lot. They would go and talk to Yin about forming a family.

They got down and were received by the supervisor who wanted to talk to them.

"I am glad you two are here. I did want to let you know that a couple came by yesterday afternoon and were interested in Yin. Yin spent some time with them and I think they got along really well" -the supervisor said. Fluke's face dropped immediately. He began overthinking. Fluke was silent.

"Did Yin say he didn't want to see us?" -Ohm said.

"Oh of course not. I just wanted to let you know. I feel like Yin had a strong connection with Fluke however yesterday the couple was really interested. You see the woman is a literature professor and Yin loves to read so he had a good time" -the supervisor said. Fluke was looking at his hand on his lap. A woman? Then Yin would be able to have a normal family. He would have a mom and a dad.

"Can we see Yin right now?" -Ohm said.
The supervisor was about to answer but Fluke replied.

"I think it is better if we don't. I mean this couple sounds amazing and he said he didn't want to be with us last time so I don't want to pressure him or make him feel guilty if he doesn't want to be with us" -Fluke said giving a weak and fake smile.

"Well I have noticed that you and Yin had a great time too. He has told me that he misses you, maybe if you talk to him-" -the supervisor was saying

"Thank you for your time" -Fluke said standing up and leaving.

"What are you doing?" -Ohm said stopping him from leaving the orphanage.

"She said the couple really wants Yin. And you said you weren't sure. I mean you did say you want a family but you are right maybe you won't want this later and we would be making him lose the opprotunity of having a mom and a dad" -Fluke said with teary eyes.
